While booking our stay I was aware of a possible $50.00 deposit but when I got to the hotel, it was actually $125.00. The lady at the service desk was rude about us being early (we had an infant so we thought we’d try to see if they were able to check us in early) and told us to come back at a different time. We decided to get some food and then wait the rest of the time in the lobby. A gentleman came in and was able to check in before the time we were given. The hotel is attached to a ****** so it smells like smoke regardless of being in a smoke free room.

Very cozy, friendly staff and clean. Enjoy the onsite restaurant. I did not like the shower, that had water run out onto the floor and into the carpet. They really need to add something from letting the water out. Everything else was great.

The bed, heater, towels was good. helpful reception. the only thing that was bad was the TV maybe it was too windy and not enough signal but overall it was a nice day

I come to Susanville a few times a year on business and have stayed at Diamond Mountain in the past. It's always clean and comfy with a fantastic staff. The restaurant is very good, too. It doesn't smell like smoke like.many other ******s.

The rooms are clean, and big. Very quiet. Lots of parking. Check in was easy and fast. Small drive to downtown.

Smoke in lower level was bothersome. My reservation was for a Mountain View room - my view was of a satellite dish and a roof of another part of the ******.
