This was an unexpected treat. We had driven from Hamilton - had not booked in advance, and had failed to find accommodation in Rotorua or Taupo, so we were grateful for this last minute deal. It was just great! Plenty of space, comfortable beds, parking. There is a nice restaurant next door and we had a delicious meal to round off our long day. Taihepe itself is a treat. We loved it.

Bathroom not enough room, no sink for dishes etc, not enough bench space,. Towels very rough. I have a medical and the bathroom by the basin there was very limited room.

Although older construction and somewhat ‘tired’ decor, our studio unit was clean, bed comfortable, and had everything we needed for an overnight stop off. Very affordable, and within walking distance of food outlets and supermarket.

Did not like the rooms beds looked like the covers were just pulled over the beds hadn't been changed... the shower was like dripping 😩 couldnt even trun.up the hot water was just warm
