We booked a stay here instead of our usual stay in Yackandandah. We wish we had never given them our booking. On arriving, the owner was less than hospitable taking us to our room. We were the only guests and we were put in what turned out to be the "Nana's" room that was not renovated. On entering, we were very disappointed because the furniture looked like old secondhand furniture. The WiFi was non existent. The shower had a half used tube of shower gel which was immediately thrown in the bin. We didn't see any toiletries with the towels so fortunately had our own. On our way home after dinner we had difficulty finding the place due to poor lighting and signage. The next morning when looking for a hair dryer, we discovered a face washer, one tube of both shampoo and conditioner and what we thought was a small soap. It was not soap, but an upturned white plug! We have communicated with the owner who denies all our observations telling us that the room was to be renovated. Why put us in such a terrible room when we were the only guest. The WiFi was better in the other rooms. Again why? Excuses were made for the lighting, it's the country! There is no excuse for what we experienced. They are not deluxe rooms! We will not be recommending this place to anyone and will do the opposite to stop others of experiencing what we did.
