Walls and roof paper thin. Got no rest because people stomping on ceiling all night and morning. Can here neighbors coughing and talking like they were in your room.

We came from OKC to Taos for a ski trip to Taos Ski Valley. We always stay at the El Pueblo because of the cleanliness of the rooms, friendly staff, and the great breakfasts.

We travel often enough to say this is the best motel we've ever stayed in. The room was spacious and well laid out. The heaters were quiet and effective and the fireplace was delightful. The hot water was immediate and actually hot. We were in a quiet location with front door parking. It was a short walk to the large dining area and there was a broad selection of tasty breakfast offerings. The service was friendly and accommodating. The property was well-maintained. Snow was cleared from walkways and handrails for safety. We will definitely return to the beautiful Taos area and El Pueblo.

This review is based on what you pay and what you get in the town of Taos. I was there for to ski at Taos Ski Valley which is a 30 minute drive away. I had a big, comfortable room with a super comfy bed within easy walking distance of historic Taos Plaza with bars, restaurants, galleries, and gift shops.The WiFi and cable channels were great and the price was very affordable.
The thing that puts this accom over the top is the included breakfast which is exceptional. Scrambled eggs, meat, potatoes, breakfast sandwiches, tamales, biscuits, gravy, cereals, fresh fruit, coffee, yogurts, sweet treats, and more. Plus there's a very attendant staff person looking after the breakfast scene. The breakfast is above and beyond.
The great breakfast along with the location, big room with comfy bed, and affordability makes this an excellent stay.
