My husband and I recently recently rented a unit at surf side for a long family weekend. We had our two young children as well as their grandma and aunt and uncle with us and it worked out perfectly! The unit was clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need. There is laundry on site (just up the hill, less than five min walk) which is huge when traveling with a baby and a toddler. The upstairs room had blackout curtains and a ceiling fan which made it ideal for getting the littles down to sleep. The primary suite had one window without curtains so it was pretty bright in the morning - I’d say bring a sleeping mask if that worries you! But loved how spacious this room and closet was. The unit was right on the water - I watched a beautiful sunrise while I was up feeding the baby and it will forever be a sweet memory! Also only a couple minutes to get down to the water and an amazing spot to watch the stars. The kids had fun picking out movies at guest services and they even got a s’mores packet which was a hit! Husband used the gym a few times and we also used the pool and hottub.

Edwin checked us in. Bluefin is an awesome resort with great food at the grill and friendly staff. Thank you Edwin for all your advice to make a great getaway weekend. We loved the easy cascade trail to see some awesome views! The fire by the beach was also fun to relax to by. Thank you Bluefin!

We stayed at bluefin in one of the superior suit. This was our first time and Kayla was very helhelpful in helping us feeling comfortable and relax. Beautiful views as well and very comfortable environment and amenities are present. I would definitely recommend this place.

Bluefin Bay used to be my go-to destination on the North Shore, but after my recent trip I will be crossing it off my list (sadly). The room was fine, but both restaurants (Coho and the grill) were a mess. There was a long wait for food, and the quality was significantly lacking. At the grill, I had to send my beef tenderloin back three times to get it cooked medium rare. It was never cooked properly, so I just gave up and left. Several others in the restaurant were also sending food back multiple times. At Coho, the wait for food was an hour or more and the meal quality was mediocre. I fully understand if they are understaffed, but perhaps an adjustment in the menu to accommodate the shortage would make sense. In conversation with other guests, we learned that this new standard is now par for the course. So unfortunate.

I heard good things about blue Finn inn. So we booked it for a 2 night get away. We cancelled our second night because I didn’t sleep. We stayed in the cheapest unit (hillside). It was too small and with no lobby close by to go to. We felt closed in. The window coverings should have the privacy window blinds so people can’t see in as they are driving by or walking by. The window faces the driveway and road. There is no light above the microwave/ fridge area which would be good to have since it was hard to see and lack of lighting in the room. The staff were wonderful and helpful. We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. We received our refund for the second night, no problem. If we come back we will spend twice the amount on a room with view of the lake with more room.

Mostly good stay on large property with events, activities and restaurants on site. Check in was smooth - even though we messed up our reservation by a day. Complimentary s’mores kits available at check in to be used either in room or at bonfire. Wonderful addition. Beachfront with lovely views. Two restaurants on site, although the property is so large they are about a half mile apart. Housekeeping is complimentary but by request only. No elevator so be mindful of upstairs rooms if mobility/luggage concerns. Now the bad. The bed is horrible. The worst I’ve ever paid to sleep on across traveling 6 continents. It’s a pull out sleeper sofa that you have to make yourself. Thin horrible mattresss that you can feel the sections through. Couldn’t sleep the first night more than two hours and had hip/back pain after that as a healthy 41 y/o. It’s a shame the beds are so bad on an otherwise great property. But bc of the horrid sleeping situation, I can’t recommend and would not return.

Very nice, modern, and clean room and facilities. I liked having Caribou Coffee with creamers and a good quality television with optional streaming capability.

First time we’ve stayed here! We chose Surfside condos. We had the bottom floor. Perfect for couples. Large room with lots of windows. Wet bar and even had dishes for two. A jacuzzi tub, king bed, cable tv. We really hated to leave! Excellent and easy check in and out!
