Room 212. It was clean. Good bed, but the pillow was rather hard, that is, of course a question of taste. Nice touch that there is a fridge in the room. There was no info anywhere about hotel facilities. There was no cupboard and not even so much as a coat hanger to hang our clothes!! So we did wonder about the four stars. Nice to be able to make coffee in the room, but nothing for tea drinkers. Luckily, I always take my own travel kettle to make a cup of tea. On line we read about restaurants, but could only see Asian cuisine and sushi, being as I hate fish this was not for me. I have no idea of other food was available, as again no info in the room at all. The breakfast room was lovely, really beautiful. It was nice to see a cooked breakfast, and I took some bacon and scrambled egg, which I then didn't eat, it was almost cold!! We had early breakfast too, so would have expected the food to be hot. The rest of the breakfast was ok. The location was very good, would I stay there again? I am not sure. We came to Tongeren to see the temporary exhibition, which really was excellent.
