Very spacious hotel with all Amenities you would wish. Perfect for families. Large rooms with living room. Massage, game room, indoor pool… and near by all very nice beach restaurants and tapas. The hotel was very busy but the service and the cleanness was very good. Impressive how they can keep it up. Amazing breakfast. Live music at night. Perfect may vacation.

Everything was great. The food is very tasty. Lots of activities on offer. Smiling, responsive service staff. The layout of the hotel pool is well thought out. An opportunity for parents with children, couples, as well as the elderly to relax without disturbing each other.

Visited as a mature couple. Had booked for another Sol hotel same resort but altered as building work was going on. Found out quite a few people had altered booking to this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised as this was we found better. Good access through private gate straight onto prom. Only concern so many people put towels on the loungers and DO NOT return till later in day and maybe for only an hour. Infuriating as sign up to say if left on for over an hour will be removed! This does not happen as pics show… So had to join the early towel risers and went down to get sun longer one morning at 8am to be in with a chance😠 I was annoyed with myself for stooping so low but wanted one day by pool at least in my weeks hol… other times we waited till around 4.30pm to have an hour before showers🙈 Food all good with quite a choice if willing to walk about around the different stations. Very busy no matter what time you go for food but quieter seating at back when rope taken down. Was expecting it to be quiet the very beginning of May but very busy with loads of small children. Restaurant staff are run off their feet getting drinks for all inclusive. Clearing table and resetting very quickly.👍🏻 cleanliness through out hotel. 10 out 10 for all the lovely staff and nice uniforms. Will come again.

This review is based off my own experiences during a 10 night stay with my family in April & May 2024. Location - 8/10 If you want access to the beach then this hotel couldn’t be better situated. There is a door in the pool area which takes you straight out to the beach front. Distance to centre of town is about a 30 minute walk, which isn’t a problem for myself or my family but could be an issue for others. Room - 5/10 The rooms are ok, but a bit on the small side. There is a fridge, safe, balcony and TV, but no tea or coffee making facilities. A table is provided but no chairs. The bathroom is a good size but the shower is low powered and has inconsistent temperature. The toilet in our room also had a broken flush, which came off each time it was used. The walls are paper thin, so expect a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms and corridors. There is also only 1 plug socket in the entire room, so I recommend packing an extension cord. Overall the rooms serve its purpose as a place to change and sleep, but there’s not much reason to be in there otherwise. Staff - 6/10 The staff are a mixed bag. Some are super friendly and accommodating. Others are abrupt and rather rude. For example I heard a barman say to someone waiting to be served “hello, hello, is anyone at home!” after they hadn’t hear him call them. This wasn’t said as a joke either, but rather insultingly. Reception staff are helpful and polite but so slow. For example we stood waiting for 20 minutes to speak to someone, and only had 2 other people in front on us. There always seems to be a queue in reception no matter the time of day. Staff in the dining area are rushed off their feet and clearly understaffed. There is also a guy taking drinks orders who doesn’t hide the fact he hates his job. No matter what anyone orders he appears so annoyed at having to serve customers. Cleaning staff do a good job but we did have an issue when they had missed our room altogether on one occasion and also we discovered they had been using our toiletries in our bathroom. Food & Dining - 2/10 I’m sorry to have to be so negative and I’ve really tried to be as positive as I can be, but I have to be completely honest and say that it is not good. Before I go onto the food, the dining area needs to be redesigned and re thought out. It is a complete mess in its current form. The dining area is vast, and can seat hundreds of people at any me time, but the hotel is clearly not able to adequately cope with the demand this brings. The serving areas are not of adequate size or quantity for the amount of diners in the room, leading to people standing around, fighting to get to food. For popular items people would be stood queuing and often by the time we reached the front the food had run out and then had to wait for it to be replenished. Despite its size, finding a free table was often a task in itself. The dining area fills up quickly, so prepare to walk around aimlessly trying to find somewhere to sit. T

Hotel was very nice big pool areas with plenty of sunbeds. The staff are friendly and helpful, I was only bed and breakfast so unsure about the food, breakfast was nice and plenty of choice although it was sometimes only just warm. The cleaniness around the hotel could do with a bit more attention food that had been spilt was left for a while and the sunbeds/pool areas a wash down more frequent as the birds seem to like to poo on them. overall stay was good.

Shoutout the all the wonderful staff. Reception staff were so helpful and welcoming, restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, maids were fab. Hotel is great, spacious and clean. Never felt crowded even though it holds lots of guests (may get busier in summer). My room was lovely and the view was spectacular! I had a sea view junior suite. Hotel directly on the beach which is perfect. 20 mins walk to centre. Pool area lovely and relaxed. Food was good, always had choice for everyone and all tasted good, however could have more vegan options for Breakfast! Definitely recommend.

Wasn't sure about bringing a 2 year old and 9 month old on their first holiday but we loved our stay in the family suites in April. The staff were genuinely unbelievable friendly and helpful, everything was kept clean and the room layout in the family suites was perfect with the separate sleeping areas. Pool area was lovely too. The dinners in the buffet were a bit repetitive so we found getting the breakfast and lunch there and eating out for dinner worked best for us. It was a little hot on first night (air con not available until May) but we found leaving patio door slightly open to leave in some air during the day helped (might just have been us adjusting to the warmed weather!). Anyway these were only small things and overall would definitely recommend.

After much deliberation we decided to book Sol Principe via Jet2Holidays for a 7 night all inclusive stay at Sol Principe and were not disappointed. First of all, the experience with Jet2 at Stansted was great - no issues at check in, bags went on their way and the flight was more or less on time to Malaga. On arrival, collected our bags and took the transfer to Sol Principe. We arrived late in the evening, after 9pm I think but got checked in smoothly and after dropping off our bags in the room, managed to catch some food in the buffet restaurant. The rest of the week was fab. The family suite was OK, lots of space but not much storage - the room had the space, but no cupboard so we piled up our clothes but that wasn't such a big deal. The bathroom was a little funny too - the toilet roll holder far behind the toilet and the hand wash high up on the wall, so the kids couldn't reach it but besides that no real issues. Our kids slept in the sofabed in the room immediately from the door while we stayed in the main bedroom with the balcony. The 'front' room can be noisy late into the night with traffic going down the corridor but chances are your kids will be zonked out anyway. Beds were changed every couple of days and the place kept clean and tidy. We took full advantage of the included breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant. The staff there are amazing - always friendly, efficient and the kitchen staff did a great job under heavy demand, as there were a couple of nights when it got really busy. The food was lovely - always something new to try but of course, the staple stuff for the kids to enjoy like pasta, rice and chips. The bar staff were also great - we are not heavy drinkers but enjoyed the cocktails included in AI, although they are not like the "real thing" but good enough that we enjoyed it. The pools were very cold and open when we went. Even the splash park was open, but I guess because it was sunny enough and busy enough to warrant being open. The sunbed situation was OK - it was tricky getting a bed as we saw so many beds left unoccupied with a towel for hours on end, by people dropping them off and not using them (or perhaps going to and from the indoor pool). This was a shame but didn't spoil our holiday since we didn't have much time to stay there anyway with our two kids... ... Which brings me onto the highlight of the holiday, which was the Kids Club and the amazing team that looked after them. Thankfully our kids were happy to give it a go and loved the activities. Typically they'll do sessions from 11am to 1pm, then 3pm to 5pm and a mini disco at 9pm. It was great to be able to leave the kids there and go do our thing, such as going into town or simply lounging around with a cocktaill. Special thanks go to Paloma, Dani and Lucia at the kids club for looking after and entertaining ours. Thanks so much! The beach and town are lovely, really nice and clean and welcoming. It's not too much of a walk down the
