Being alone for Easter together with my partner having good daydreams I thought I would book for Easter for many places the most welcoming and convenient was the wind rose sorry for reaching it a bit complicated however a panoramic view facing you can see the Aeolian Islands in the sea wonderful.

In Sicily, on the occasion of Vasco Rossi's concert in Palermo, I decided to go back by car to my homeland (Basilicata). I have a package given to me years ago, never used, I'll try to book, it's one of the few alternatives that is concise with my journey and this hotel is precisely it. I book and immediately get a positive response. We arrive along typical Sicilian streets and in front of a spectacular view we find this super well-kept and truly beautiful structure even from the outside. It goes without saying that the welcome given by professionals of the trade is always a pleasure to have. Everything perfect, really nice and clean sea view room. Plus excellent cuisine of the highest level. I highly recommend. I will definitely go back. Ps: thanks to the owner's suggestion and his commitment to organizing everything we also managed to visit the Lipari islands and the volcano via an excursion.

Very clean hotel and friendly staff, the food not very pleasant, without flavor and poor fish!!! I would like to thank Mrs Mariagrazia and Mariella for letting us spend 55 minutes of an exceptional massage, both for me and for my husband inside the spa centre, very happy with their unique and very kind people...

I've been there for a wedding, but it's not the first time, I've always thought about giving it a second chance but this time it was awful! Apart from the much vaunted location that really needs to be rejuvenated, too démodé, bragging about the view is useless! But the food, really come on, food must be a pleasure, all cold, tasteless and raw material of very poor quality, but how can we still offer smoked salmon with orange and balsamic glaze in 2023 (a glaze that should be forbidden to the chef in how much did we find it everywhere)???!!!??? Bad service, it almost seemed that the waiters and the owner disturbed our presence, you make a simple request and they answer you with rudeness….incredible! I still can't understand how it is possible that there are spouses who have the pleasure of going to these places, talking to these people and eating the food on offer!

Very comfortable family-run hotel where the staff are extremely kind, the rooms are large and comfortable. Maybe I would like to give a little suggestion for the renewal of the televisions in the room. The breakfast is very complete. With delicious homemade cakes and biscuits. The place is beautiful, but the vegan menu not at all. I'm sorry that such a renowned, stylish and quality restaurant is not up to date. Presenting only vegetables as an appetizer and passing off a second course as a meager side dish of vegetables I found absurd. I haven't seen a protein yet a second should consist of a protein. No strange vegan products were needed, legumes would have been enough to create an infinite number of dishes (pies, savory muffins, legume meatballs, porridge, hummus, etc). But no. Only and always vegetables. Moreover, the second course was identical to the appetizer, a minimum of inventiveness even with the vegetables, right?! I was taken aback because a chef should make his job his specialty, it is inadmissible not to be able to prepare a vegan menu in 2022 (when this choice is clearly taken by many, myself included, due to the pollution that intensive farming causes) and continuing to demonize legumes like this won't get us far. There are a thousand thousand vegetable proteins of which there was not even a shadow in any course on my menu yesterday. Vegans don't just eat vegetables. That has passed, though. Furthermore, out of two first courses (the only decent ones) only one was appreciable and tasty (the ravioli), as the rice seemed plain and white. I didn't stay hungry, but I wasn't at all satisfied with the mentality that I still see today as not being open at all. Know that tofu, seitan, tempeh and all the other soy derivatives are perfectly replaceable by legumes (chickpeas, lentils, peas and flours of all the same ones just mentioned) which: 1) everyone eats; 2) lend themselves very well to a thousand particular preparations, such as pies and meatballs. But this the chef should have known. I write it here for the future, in the hope that things can change. For yesterday, however, absolutely rejected!

La Rosa dei Venti è l' ideale per un soggiorno tranquillo. A pochi km da Tindari, da Messina e Taormina, è anche meta strategica per visitare i due litorali o andare verso Palermo. Camere pulite e confortevoli. Servizio SpA con idromassaggio, sauna, bagno turco e doccia emozionale. Personale disponibile e cordiale. È Cautela di nome e di fatto la famiglia che gestisce l' Hotel e che tratta i suoi ospiti sempre con molta gentilezza e accortezza. Cucina deliziosa e ricca colazione, gli stessi dolci provengono da una pasticceria di proprietà della famiglia Cautela. Ritornerei ancora.
