I stayed here fortunately just for 1 night on my Viator tour in and around Sa Pa. The hotel has an open plan area rising through the whole building which made the restaurant where we had evening meal and breakfast soooo cold you could see your breath at times. Evening meal was ok but the breakfast offerings were just basic. Only 2 bain Marie’s had food in 1 with sausage pieces and the other rice, and stone cold chips on an open plate!DEFINATELY not up to a 4* standard. In my room there was a A/C - heater but even after getting maintenance in to check if it was working properly it still was not man enough to heat the room the max it got to was 18’ and definitely no heat in the bathroom. I did ask reception if I could have a second door entry card to leave the heat on, as when leaving the room without it the temp dropped to 12’ very quickly, however they refused….very caring customer service, again not expected in 4* I’m sure this is a wonderful place to stay when it’s warmer but for me on this occasion it was not a happy experience.

Lovely friendly hotel, staff very welcoming and friendly, food was great, flavoursome and freshly cooked. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Good shower and nice toiletries. We had a very pleasent stay and would happily recommend to others. Sapa town on the other hand is full of tack and hard sell, its full of massage parlours, trekking shops and souvenir shops, I’d avoid if you are not staying here as it’s not worth a special visit

This hotel is just good! It doesn't offer any special things, but it's just good. We got upgraded (for free) as our room was not available anymore, so that was a very kind gesture. We appreciated that. It's hard to communicate with the employees though haha, they barerly speak English (except for one man at the reception). This man deserves credits, his English is better than average, was very kind, helped us everytime we needed it and also was so kind to reduce the price of the group tour that we booked via the hotel since we only did half of the tour that was promised us (some people in the group had to leave to catch their bus back to hanoi). The rooms are very noisy, but big and quite clean. Breakfast is ok, but didn't have that much options. In short, our stay was good but not perfect.

Me and my family stayed here for 2 nights to explore Sapa for the first time. We enjoyed our time here. Check in was super effective. We had a total of 5 rooms and were all located on the top floor which was great. The staffs were all super friendly, breakfast was ok and clean tidy rooms. It's well located away from the busy streets and there's also a lot of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.

Do NOT GO HERE. for many reasons. * It is next to a place where someone keeps at least 10 dogs, maybe 20, and they start a concert of barking before the sun rises. I could literally look down and see the dogs from my balcony. It was not pleasant. * While it is called the View, and one can look straight ahead and see mountains, the view straight down is an extremely junky unattractive place. It looks like an abandoned junk area. * It is quite far from the heart of the city and the only want to get to the exciting part of town is to walk up really steep, jagged, unkept and not even safe stones and broken bricks. The other way is to pay for an electric car, which has no seatbelts on winding roads and person could either fall and get hurt going up and down the steps or get tossed from an electric car. * The food is mediocre, the the workers were just showing up at starting time. It is a loud place. At 2;30 a.m. on our first night, a roar of yellling filled our room. it was an angry Indian man and wife who were furious that the manager was telling them they had to be quiet or leave, so they got louder. * They were really mean people, and when I asked the manager to call the police, he told us "no police are working at 1 .m." No police working at the time time when most crimes are committed and people are most drunk?

This hotel has it’s pros & cons: Pros: *friendly very helpful staff *beautiful lobby *well appointed spacious rooms, nicely decorated *concierge services at front desk for motorcycle rental, tour tickets, etc *shower separate from toilet, nice bathroom *nice views off 2 balconies from room, making room light and airy *free breakfast *strong air conditioning in room Cons: Only Two - the Noise & unreliable in-room wifi VERY noisy hotel. Of all the places we stayed in Asia, this was the noisiest! We believe it was a combination of factors such as: *main clientele are families with children, so there is lot of noise from the kids *the structure of the hotel is such that you can hear noise from many floors on your floor because of the open tiled corridor in the middle of hotel from ground to roof. So we can hear kids running around screaming and playing on lobby floor (or some floor, who knows), doors slamming, people arguing from our 6th floor room #604. Sounds dubious but it’s a fact. *if you have a view room (ie their premium rooms) you are over the pool. This means a lot of pool noise. It doesn’t sound like from 6 floors up, it sounds like it’s right outside your balcony. *And lastly, hotel’s poor attitude towards the noise - we only complained once during a 5 NIGHT STAY about the kids noise when it was getting late and kids were literally screaming and running around. But when we called to complain, the reception said sorry but these families are on vacation too! Really!?! So you let kids run the hallways playing tag or whatever they want screaming at will?? That really sealed it for us. *another eg: one night at ~01:00am, a couple got into a heated arguement on some floor, with the man screaming at her at the top of his lungs - it actually sounded violent. After 10 minutes of this we finally called the front desk. No Answer. OK, I guess we should’ve expected that. It lasted 20 mins before they finally stopped and went into their room slamming the door. Unreliable in-room wifi: it was essentially non existent. When we asked, they said to just leave the door ajar or open to get it! Really!?! We tried ajar, but it didn’t work still and we were 9t about to prop our door open while we live there, so we essentially had to go to the lobby to access internet as even cellular data was not good in room. So for us at least, we cannot stay here again because despite the lovely accommodations, we could not relax with all the noise that is tolerated here and we need in-room wifi that works.

Nice 3 star Hotel with great views and pool. In a quiet location. Staff friendly and helpful, inclusive breakfast ok not much Western beyond fried eggs and toast. The pho was very good. One thing to check we had been booked a deluxe mountain view room through the travel agent but when we arrived they hadn't put us in this room fortunately I has checked the pictures on their website and was able to get the room we paid for which was much larger with 2 balconies and table and chairs. Bed was very comfy though and room well equipped. Short walk up a series of steps to the town.

We had the pleasure of staying at the View Sapa hotel during our trip to Vietnam. We were beyond impressed by the accommodations, the service and the amenities, and we are grateful to have discovered this luxurious hotel during our visit. The rooms were clean, equipped with wifi and well stocked with toiletries and snacks, and the staff was friendly, accommodating and willing to go out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. A truly wonderful experience that we would highly recommend!
