The hotel that is really in the city palace complex needs to use the hotel's pass card to enter and exit the gate of the palace complex. The lobby, restaurant and bar are the main building of the hotel. However, it is slightly shabby, and the corners of the old facilities have mold spots and poor sound insulation. In short, it is like a small building that was previously occupied by people. Breakfast can be ordered a la carte, and the recommended leg of lamb for dinner is delicious. It is full of butter, and it is a real candlelight dinner ~

A ROYAL experience !!! We stayed at Leela Palace, Udaipur for 2 nights as part of our trip here for our 25th wedding anniversary and what an amazing stay we had. Right from the welcome with rose petal showers as we walked in, the boat ride with accompanying live flute music, to the fantabulous arrangement in the room; Special mention about Mr Madhav Rathi, who was responsible for arranging everything in the room (cakes and cards to welcome us) and outside for us, was one of the most friendliest and accommodating staff we encountered. Even my last minute request for complimentary incense of the exclusive Leela fragrance, he sorted within few minutes. He is an A* staff for Leela Palace. T The room, deco, ambience, the environment, the early morning soothing music, world class cuisine by Mr Roopak, exemplary service from Mr Gaurav / Mr Ronak to name a few, the cleanliness and attention to detail, evening cultural events — a royal experience indeed. Definitely a place to visit again for a longer stay in future

We were travelling for 12 days around Rajasthan and this had the best service of any hotel we stayed in. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly ***ager who made us feel at home and gave us a map of the city. Throughout the stay, all the staff went out of their way to help us and make us comfortable. Food in the restaurant was great, garden area was nice, and the room had a very charming, historical feel. It got a bit cold at night but the blankets were really warm. Location is perfect, a ten minute walk away from the centre of the city (Jagdish temple), but that means it's closer to the boating jetty and the best sunset viewpoint. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I made the right decision to stay at this wonderful properly located in the in the heart of Old Udaipur. Initially I was a bit apprehensive to checkin after looking at the entrance but as I entered towards the hotel, the experience was incredible. Splendid location, amiable hospitality and majestic ambiance makes this hotel an ultimate choice for travelers who want to enjoy luxurious stay at an affordable rates. It has ***y things to offer- Nice spacious rooms with big bathrooms, Decent sitting rooftop restaurant to enjoy delicacies and mesmerize scenic beauty of the ghats at Lake Pichola, Wonderful seating area at ground floor for Bonfire, Selfie point where you can click pictures, Jharokha kind of setup with comfortable seating area in balcony outside rooms etc. Each staff member starting from checkin to checkout were extremely helpful and delightful. Special thanks for the Front Office ***ager, Prince (Room Service Guy), Shahrukh ( F&B Assistant) Mohan & his assistant (Chef), Bittu (Auto guy) for ***aging our wonderful stay. Although food items are limited in the menu but the taste, quality & presentation can easily beat any star restaurant in Udaipur. I was really impressed with the calm nature of Chef Mohan who was efficiently handling busy orders in the kitchen with a decent smile. The impeccable service of the staff made us to extend our stay for 2 more nights. The place was more like a home away from the home. Big big thanks to all the team members property for ***aging our stay at Hibiscus- Urban by Nomads.
