Saccharum Safari Lodge

Blown away by our entire experience! The lodge was beautifully done out, clean and comfortable with fabulous, authentic mud and straw construction combined with great shower, amenities and a/c Our host Wasin went above and beyond to create a great stay for us. His team put in a lot of effort to create beautiful spaces for us to dine in and the chef Akshendra fed us incredible food themed from around the world in our 4 day stay. He also catered to our children’s taste and needs! Kanha national park was beautiful and I would highly recommend using Wasin and his wife as naturalists for your visit. He also organises walks and visits to the other national parks if desired. The tiger sightings were incredible and we enjoyed 7 safaris, seeing over 20 tiger sightings as well as lucky to see a sloth bear! The swimming pool at the lodge was an absolute bonus to our whole experience. We had a lot of fun playing and cooling off in the afternoons. Fabulous walks are around the lodge… a real gem!

Wow!! What a place!! This ticked all the boxes for the kind of place we love to stay. Quiet, surrounded by nature - birds and butterflies- and the accommodation was second to none. A large spacious and light room with a splendid large bathroom with excellent shower. We require, a clean room with a good comfortable bed, a clean bathroom with a good shower and good food. Sacch***m Safari Lodge ticks all the boxes. The chef was delightful and so talented we wanted to bring him home! He cooked different meals with varying international cuisines. Amazing. The owners Vasim and Ratna have fulfilled their dream of returning over 50 acres of formal gardens back to nature. It gets my vote. We absolutely loved staying here. We would not hesitate to stay here again. We did see tigers but my photos were not up to my standard to put on here.

We have been to the beautiful Kanha National Park a number of times, but this is the first time at Sacch***m. It is a wildlife paradise in itself. The current owners are a delightful couple who have transformed the whole grounds into a very comfortable place to stay. Only a small proportion of the area has been been upgraded to high standard individual lodges with all the modern amenities, and the rest, some 50+ acres, has been re-wilded. So, they have a myriad of wildlife within their boundary. It is an amazing place. Also their chef is very special, concocting his own individual delights to suit all tastes. It is a short drive from Mukki Gate, the main entrance to Kanha. In our opinion, as well seasoned Indian wildlife travellers, there is no better place to stay. Thoroughly recommended

this was one of the best resort I have been to so far a place to relax urself from the busy life. Located amidst the lush greenery of the jungle, this resort offers an unparalleled experience for nature enthusiasts and luxury seekers alike. From the moment you step foot on the premises, you are enveloped in a serene atmosphere that is both rejuvenating and exhilarating. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the poolside dinner. Picture yourself surrounded by towering trees and the soothing sounds of the jungle as you indulge in a delectable feast under the stars. The ambiance was simply magical, creating memories that will last a lifetime.The candlelight dinner at the machan elevated my experience to new heights. Perched amidst the treetops, with nothing but the soft glow of candles illuminating the night, it was a truly ro***tic and intimate affair. The attention to detail in every aspect of the evening, from the exquisite cuisine to the impeccable service, was truly commendable.Aside from the extraordinary dining experiences, the resort itself boasts luxurious accommodations, impeccable hospitality. my experience at this Sacch***m was nothing short of exceptional. It exceeded all my expectations and left me longing to return. one should definitely keep this resort in mind while planning a trip to Kanha National park ...

Our stay at Sacch***m safari lodge was very memorable. It felt like home. The staff was warm and hospitable making us feel at home. They went above and beyond arranging activities and serving delicious meals. peaceful atmosphere and sounds of wildlife in the distance. It was a unique and unforgettable escape into the nature. Big Thankyou to everybody at Sacch***m for making our holiday so comfortable, memorable and connected with nature, it was the perfect detox we needed, allowed us to fully unwind and reconnect with the nature.

Loved every minute of our stay at Sacch***m Safari lodge. The stay, the warm welcome, the care and personalised service, the thrilling Safari experience, the surreal walks in the buffer zone, and the superb food all made it one of the most memorable and heart warming 5 days.

One with nature - Safari stay in Kanha National Park. Staying at Sacch***m was a fantastic experience. It was my first time in Kanha National park and for someone who has been on 20+ safaris and not seen a tiger, My excitement level was super high. We stayed 2 nights and 3 days in Sacch***m. I am big on eco-friendly and sustainable practices and Sacch***m ticked all the boxes. I loved that they did not have a TV in the rooms, or allowed playing loud music on speakers in the property. There is barely any cellular connectivity and wifi is patchy. This allowed us to disconnect with the outside world and connect with Nature. I really enjoyed this forced digital detox, which was much needed. The special Thali of local dishes made by Chef Aksh using all locally sourced ingredients deserves a mention. Wasim took it upon himself to ensure I sighted tigers and had blocked 2 morning safaris for us. I finally had a fantastic 1st sighting of MB3, what a beauty she is. Sacch***m will always be special coz of this for me. Service unmatched! Our 2nd safari was with Madhuri one of the first women drivers in Kahna, it was such a pleasure to go on a safari with her. There are ***y highlights of my stay in Sacch***m but I am calling out my top 3: - The ambience and decor that’s blending in with nature - The walking safari with Wasim in the buffer zone and in the property, where we learnt so much about the Jungle, Sal trees, Sambrani and so ***y species of birds and animals and little secrets of the forest - The hospitality of Wasim and Ratna. They add so much to the experience by sharing their stories around the world and are excellent hosts. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Was so pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The accommodation is super clean and well serviced. The staff are professionally trained and are very polite and courteous. The food in this resort was one of the highlights, the chef’s passion is clearly displayed on the plate, with home grown ingredients and great variety of good tasting food. I went there with my wife and my son and they absolutely loved it there too. The resort made great efforts in creating ro***tic environments blended in the beautiful nature around the property. Ofcourse the main purpose of the visit was safaris and the staff were very punctual and the guides displayed great passion and love for nature and animals. We did 4 safaris in 3 days and were very lucky to see 5 different tigers and 2 baby cubs besides a long list of other beautiful animals in an absolutely beautiful jungle. Conclusion: Besides being one of my most amazing experience in a safari, I was absolutely amazed by the experience in the resort. The food was amazing and the staff were polite, courteous and professional. Loved it and will be back again 100%
