Pine View Resort

Overpriced for the quality of the facilities. Reminiscent of 1970s. Musty smell in lobby and room. Not Pine View's fault, but next door female patrons sat outside drunk and foul-mouthed until 3:00 a.m. Past experience says it's no use suggesting drunk women tone it down. Tells you all you need to know of the place.

First off, The room was $140/night. I'm sorry, but for that price I was expecting more than what was there. The room is just a basic room that is out dated and done in the cheapest way possible. Secondly, there are a couple dilapidated buildings that were obviously part of the plan many years ago but are no longer used...or cared for. I would not stay here again, not even for half the price.

Well, it was not good. In fact, downright terrible. For starters, Pine View Resort is way outdated of a motel to be charging $150 a night. It should be more like 50 dollars a night. Secondly, how can you call a motel a resort when it has the following: broken and/or worn out benches, ****s growing everywhere, an abandon and run down building on the corner of the property, no workable ice machine by the Pine View Lodge Building, and barely a continental breakfast with only milk, coffee, and breakfast rolls or muffins. Thats more Iike breakfast on the go. We had to have the toilet in our room unclogged because it wasn't flushing properly. My husband Mark was very bothered by the negligent condition this motel has become, and was about ready to call both The Indiana State Board of Health as well as The Better Business Bureau in regards to overpricing of rooms based on condition of buildings. We have both decided against staying at this place again and believe it either needs to be condemned or under better management that's willing to start making improvements.

Property is beat up in general. Needs maintenance attention. Inside room was dingy, towels and sheets were old and worn out, fridge did not work, clock did not work, wood work chipped and in need of paint. On top of all that, the room charge was $140 which was outrageous. $60 would have been more palatable.

It was pretty cozy and quiet. Staff are very respectful.

Room smelled terrible. Musty moldy smell. Had to go buy air freshener to remain in the room. Used disinfectant also. Property was not maintained at all.

I thought I was getting a nice still in a lodge I was put in the room in the back 40 felt something crawling on a Friday night didn’t think much of it was tired came back from indiana beach on Saturday and we noticed blood on the sheets and we flipped mattresses and found about 45 bedbugs on each bed. We went to the front office. She told me to call back on Monday and I may get my refund for Friday Saturday night. She put back on my credit card even though I paid cash for my rooms. wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy

Desk staff were not very friendly. Breakfast was very limited and not many. Hot tub was not working and looked dirty. Room was decent. Not as nice and inviting as I remember. Pool area was nice

Did not recognize the request for connecting rooms. Breakfast was a bust coffee very weak, toast only toasted one side of bread. Rooms were cheesy.
