One of the rare gems of anatolia. Hezen Cave hotel is in a quite and calm place, on the cheek of the valley seeing over ridge and on the fight side. Here you can see the sunset as the gentle breeze cools you down after a long and hot day in July. The hotel staff is friendly and can help you with places to go and activities not to miss while you’re here. We have one of the Suites (room 15 which consists of two rooms and one hamam-style shower and separate toilet and vanity.

Stopped in this hotel for 5 days in mid-April. The hotel is small for just a few rooms but very comfortable with a beautiful view. The rooms are small and large with a large terrace. There is a teapot in the rooms, you can always drink tea and coffee, everything clean and neat. Welcome staff who responded to all our requests. Breakfast, delicious and satisfactory are offered. I recommend to visit if you plan to move a lot rather than sit in a hotel.

I stayed in suite 99 in the units across the little road from breakfast and reception. If you are ok with steps up a few terraces the flat is gorgeous. Impeccably decorated with a collection of Ottoman antiques, incredible carpets and gorgeous textile artwork. The are multiple day beds to curl up to read a book, large windows in both rooms and a wonderful large bed with fresh linens and excellent pillows. An ensuite tea service and an upstairs private terrace and bathroom with large shower and plenty of clean towels. Besides the beauty of the rooms the great joy is the view into the central village of old Ortahisar. Epic. I’m happy I could easily negotiate the metal spiral staircase that leads to the upstairs bathroom and private terrace. If a person has mobility issues I know there are more suitable and equally beautiful suites on the property.
