The Most Amazing Grounds & Service in Urubamba!! My Husband and I came in 2019 and the place is even better (though I wouldn't have seen how that was possible) in 2024. This small, secluded hotel has expanded to include Jaccuzzi, sauna and massage on top of their existing yoga/exercise space, restaurant/bar complete with pizza oven, library & outdoor communal spaces as well as extensive, beautiful gardens with hammocks. The innkeepers are amazing: Hermano, Kelly, & Inti were so accommodating. They arranged transport from the airport in Cusco, then on other days out to the ruins and sites at Pisac, Maras, & Moray as well as to the train station in Ollantaytambo for our trip to Machu Picchu. The restaurant serves excellent food-made to order. A fantastic way to relax into your vacation with excellent service from Moises, Erica, and all the other team members. We've met both the owners (Lizzy last trip and Bill this time). What delightful people! They are truly interested in your best experience and highlighting the best of the local sites and opportunities. If you only go to one place in Peru--come to Lizzy Wasi!!

This was my second trip to Lizzy Wasi. We stayed four days, and the service could not have been better. The staff was attentive to our every need. Breakfast each morning was wonderful. Staff arranged all our transport needs to get us to Pisac and Ollantaytambo. I would never consider staying anywhere else in Urubamba other than Lizz Wasi. We got to meet one of the owners (Bill). He suggested a number of things to do which were not on our original agenda. I can't say enough good thing about this place and the staff.

Excellent hotel. All the staff from the hotel manager, housekeeping, food service and grounds keepers were friendly and helpful. Felt like home. Food was really good as well. Managers offered suggestions on things to see and do, arranged drivers for our outings, etc. was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent room - spacious, nice balcony overlooking beautiful gardens Excellent restaurant on the property - no need to leave. Very helpful staff. Arranged nice car for us for Moray, Salinas (DON'T MISS IT), and on to Cuzco. A not as nice place in Ollantaytambo cost twice as much, and it is only $10 away by taxi.

If you love to get the feel of Peru away from Cusco, Urubamba and Lizzy Wasi is the way. I loved this hotel. When the gates opened, it was love at first sight. The staff is phenomenal, and the room was fantastic. It’s Quiet and relaxing. It was such a nice getaway and riding the tuk tuks into town was great fun.

We stayed at Lizzy Wasi for one night. As soon as we walked through the gates of the hotel we felt like we are in a different world. The beautiful greenery and the atmosphere gave us a sense of relaxation. They grow their own vegetables which they serve their guests. They have alpacas in the gardens which is so lovely. The room was spacious and clean. The employees are very customer oriented. Inti was so kind and attentive. A wonderful hotel to relax.

The staff is so helpful, courteous and kind. They ensure your comfort and help you navigate to see what you want to experience in Peru. They can set up excursions and cabs for you. Love all the people that work there! The food was the best in Peru.

property is beautiful, well kept and clean, the 2 alpacas on the property were the highlight for my kids. Rooms were nice, spacious, clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this property.
