It is an old hotel. The room itself was just okay, good enough for somewhere to sleep while evacuating a hurricane. The front door was hard to open and close. The safety locks were broken and did not work, including the deadbolt. We had to put chairs in front of the door to feel safe. The bathroom door would not close at all. We had to hold it closed with our foot while we were using the toilet. The tub needs to be replaced. The coating was coming off in several places. The carpets and the tiles looked like nobody ever cleans them. There were several tiles missing and cracked. The grout was completely black. The remote felt sticky and there was a hair stuck in the laminated channel guide. There was also hair in the tub and on the towels and wash cloths. The phones don't even have a cord so they don't work. If someone needed help and had no cellphone they would be in trouble. The wifi was horrible too. I barely had any service at all. Had to use my data and hotspot to use my computer. The on the go breakfast was a joke. They only offered Danish and Muffins. We at least expected cereal or granola bars too. The microwave was stained and the fridge looked clean but we didn't use it. The best thing about this place was that it accepts pets, the beds were soft and the staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful. No issues with the staff. If there had been more availability another hotel would have been chosen. We won't book there again even if we do have to evacuate. We will pick another hotel.

This was my 3rd stay here but first in many years. Upon arrival, I requested an upgrade for my Diamond level IHG status but was abruptly told that the hotel was full! ok, I understand. I then asked, if possible, to have a room with a tub. No trouble so we checked in and went to a room which only had a shower! Back to the lobby and a different, but friendlier person. She gave us a room but upon arrival there, we found a tub but also drooping drapes and a loose lock on main door plus it was a connecting room. Back to the lobby and the same second person, but she disappeared and a manager appeared. The manager was very apologetic and offered us each a free drink. She gave us an end room, which I believe she called an ”Endeavour” room, which she said was one usually reserved for Delta pilots. We got there and it did have a tub but was also a connecting one. I gave up! The weirdest aspect of this room was the location of the toilet. To stand in front of the sink, one had to straddle the toilet since it stuck out and obviously was a last minute placement. (see picture) We headed to the bar area for our free drink plus decided to use our 1/2 price drink/appetizer coupon that everyone receives for a steak quesadilla appetizer. It was mostly soggy ground beef, but it did for our dinner since we weren't too hungry after a mid-afternoon lunch in Cordele. We had planned to go to Publix and get some wine and maybe some snacks, but we decided just to make do with one drink and a split appetizer so money saved! While we were having our appetizer, the manager walked by and asked about our room. I thanked her for her attention but stated that our room was a connecting one. She immediately had the bartender give up a 2nd round of drinks; me Gin & Tonic, other half, white wine. We finished our appetizer and took the remaining drinks to the room and got to bed early. Breakfast the next morning which I receive complimentary as a Diamond perk was very good with great service. The 2 servers and the chef were very friendly and welcoming. I got a large glass of water, which I refilled twice. I had the biscuits and gravy which came with 2 eggs and a meat (I had bacon, which I requested soft but it was a quite firm since they must prepare the bacon in advance and just keep it warm!) Other half had a wrap and a bowl of fruit. In summary, manager tried her best. She said she would have definitely upgraded us to a suite due to my status had the hotel not been full. The breakfast team was fantastic and as welcoming as I remembered 5+ years ago. I would still give this place another chance but would hope for no issues, although I did enjoy 2 rounds of free drinks.

i and my spouse have stayed here twice each year for a number of years. We like the back side away from the highway and the suites are clean and spacious. Mini refrigerator is large enough to hold food from a medium cooler and beverages from a small cooler and importantly has a small freezer on top for our polar ice packs. Bravo. (Too many lack the freezer). Post Covid they once again offer hot breakfast (including eggs, sausage, and waffles) and other cold options - always sufficient for us . But this year the scrambled eggs were way too salty, and I never remember that in the past. The staff said they had not added salt, so the mix was a terrible choice/brand. Frankly anyone can add salt to taste (salt and pepper were provided) but you can't take it out. As retired (& older) both of us take medication for high blood pressure and look for low sodium on anything we buy. In our view if you can taste the salt in food from restaurants or store, it is too much. It may not taste bad but it is still not needed - salt can always be added to taste. But in this case those eggs tasted like brine - way too salty. Just unnecessary. After a few bites I had to toss them out, but managed with the waffle and sausage. So to management, please find an unsalted egg mix. The evening before we enjoyed a delightful dinner at the Peking Cafe a couple of blocks away and we highly recommend it if you like Asian food. Would be 5 stars if not for the eggs.

We showed up a 5AM and needed to clean up and sleep a while. The excellent desk lady gave us an extra hour (beyond the 11AM check out), then the cleaning crew were advised to give us another hour slack. Superb management, superb service.... Thank you!!!!! Very nice people!

After a lengthy trip for business I arrived in Valdosta after 1 AM. The night office manager was prompt and courteous getting me signed in. The room on the ground floor was immaculate. There were plenty of towels and the bed had three large pillows. The room had a fresh Spring aroma which aided in having a restful nights sleep. The shower was clean and had more room than most I've seen. This Motel 6 will be where I stay on future trips to this area. (10/2/19)

My husband and I, and our dog stayed here while Hurricane Ian was crossing Florida. We had left Florida to escape the storm. Staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Our dog (and many others with dogs) stayed here during this time. Room was clean and comfortable, continental breakfast daily was well supplied and despite the person I the building, nights were very quiet. Upon checking out, desk attendant even caught an error on my charges which I hadn't noticed, and corrected it. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a reasonable priced hotel with good location to nearby restaurants/shopping and a great staff. We will likely go back next time we are headed out that way ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bathroom was the cleanest hotel bathroom I have seen from San Diego to Valdosta! Very pleasantly surprised as we have never stayed at a Country Inn & Suites. Staff were pleasant. The room was nicely appointed with lots of pillows. The mattress was quite comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
