Pet-friendly Hotels in Vang Vieng

Great location and friendly staff. We found many insects during our stay, which is understandable given Vang Vieng is pretty much surrounded by jungle and it was a rainy night. However, we were waken up by a GIANT cockroach, and there were no staff or housekeeper to handle the situation in the middle of the night, so we have to handle it ourselves. Breakfast was nice and you get to enjoy it on the river bank is a plus.

Honestly I have never needed to write a bad review for a hotel before, but I genuinely feel like I need to warn future guests at all costs to avoid staying in this hotel. There are genuinely realms of things I could state about this hotel, however I don't think they are even worth writing about in detail in comparison to the major issue we had. These smaller complaints include a leaking toilet that caused toilet water to smell up our bathroom, raging parties every night until all hours of the morning, rude guests that were taking pictures of myself and my friends by the pool and the staff laughing when we reported it to them, the eagle tied up next to the stairs for breakfast, the staff washing a dead pig by the stairs to the bedroom etc. The above complaints do not even compare to the treatment we received at this hotel, which has forced me to write this complaint. Myself and my friends woke up to a man (not staff) who entered our room in the early morning. One of my friends woke up, this is when the man panicked and left. We were very confused and felt very unsafe. A few more friends had been staying in another room, and the days prior had a couple walk into their room twice with their key. They were confused and presumed the hotel has given them the wrong room. Upon thinking of all these situations, we decided to test our room key on a different room that no one was staying in to see if the room keys were programmed to open all rooms.... low and behold they were. We felt extremely extremely unsafe as their was a man on the premises that had come into our room and men who continued to make us feel very unsafe by calling at us and taking pictures throughout our stay. We raised this issue to the owner and asked for a refund because we didn't feel comfortable staying another night. The manager ignored us and walked away from us numerous times because she didn't want to deal with us. Eventually, this heated encounter ended up with a threat to call the police. We left as we decided this hotel wasn't worth arguing with as they clearly had no regard for their guests and we had to spend a night at another hotel last minute. I worked in a hotel for 6 years and am absolutely horrified and baffled at the treatment we received. Genuinely, there are many other places to stay in much superior locations in Vang Vieng and I would avoid staying here at all costs.

We had a wonderful stay with Lan and Thi Hong. We stayed for only 2 nights as they were fully booked so, unfortunately, we couldn't stay the 4 nights as we wanted. Lan was great with communication before our arrival. She very kindly arranged a complimentary pick up (and drop off) from the station. The bungalows themselves are large and very comfortable, with ”balcony”, a big comfortable bed and much needed air conditioning. Tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries and hairdryer. Very clean. The grounds are beautiful and at the back of the property is a very nice swimming pool, which is lovely for a refreshing dip. Bearlin Bungalows are outside of the town on the road to the blue lagoons and Nam Xay but they provide a tuktuk service to and from the old bridge into town for LAK 50,000 a return trip. They also have bicycles that you can borrow and they organised a buggy for us to go out and about in the local countryside for the day. And Lan booked onward train tickets for us for a small fee. For breakfast, they offer various set menus to choose from and they also offer lunch and dinner from a very nice menu. Food was all freshly cooked, very tasty, and very good value for money. We couldn't fault our stay and we were made to feel really welcome. Highly recommend.

It feels like a theme hotel with the most atmosphere in Wanrong. The large balcony. The floor-to-ceiling windows of the room are equipped with a view. There is also a bathroom with dry and wet separation. The service is also superb. Outdoor with a swimming pool. Wanrong strongly recommends everyone to experience it! ! !

Wonderful stay Alex has the highest sense of hospitality, honesty and helpfulness towards guests. He helped us to get last minute hot air balloon tickets, shared a lot of useful information and hosted us for two days all this with pure hospitality and without profit interest. Room was clean and with a great view over the mountains. The hotel is charming and made us feel at home. The location is quiet and perfect with loads of good restaurants around at night and a lovely market some early mornings.

The Mani Riverside Garden House is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Vang Vieng, having been recently renovated in 2021.With multiple attractions nearby including Tham Jang, River Tubing and VLT Tour, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied.At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city.

The hotel and the room are very clean and bright. Everything you need is available. Hot water is at the front desk. The breakfast is simple and delicious. It’s just that the boss answered most of the questions he asked with a gentle smile and didn’t know 🤷. Definitely worth the money.

萬榮是户外愛好者的天堂。萬榮鎮上不大，離高鐵站2、3公里多，幾乎去哪裡都可以步行到達。AD民宿Soksay guesthouse 不臨河臨街。小院正門在主街旁邊的巷子裏，很安靜。去主街坐車吃飯非常方便。夜晚看着黑漆漆的路白天卻是另一番景象。離河邊也不遠，走五分鐘穿過步行街就是南松河上的鐵橋。離夜市很近，三分鐘路程。民宿後門是一大片空地，停車非常方便。雖然沒有什麼景緻衹能看到遠山，但傍晚時分天空顏色很好看，老撾相當於七八十年代的中國，酒店大多也有年代感了。鎮上衹有幾家酒店是新建成的，其他都是民居改造。 房間都很大有二十幾平方。沒有裝修和設計，傢俱也都不是新的很不起眼，浴室的熱水器和大多酒店一樣都是簡單的速熱式。房間除去放置行李箱與衣物的掛架和大床，還有很大的空間。房間雖然簡樸但衞生做的很好，不潮濕沒有螞蟻和蚊蟲。看到老撾阿姨打掃衞生時很認真，地面一根頭髮都沒有，阿姨進入樓裏面打掃衞生都是光着腳的，並不會因為客人穿着鞋而改變自己的習慣，床很寬床品也很整潔，浴巾都是很蓬鬆乾乾淨淨的。床墊是兩層的，上面是一層厚厚的乳膠墊很舒服，睡的非常好！ 性價比超高，青旅的床位價格在這裡能住上二十幾平大單間真的是很讚的👍，在鎮中心再也找不到這個價格了。鎮上最低價的房間。 院子很普通，如果不是門口立着民宿牌子都會以為這就是個老撾民宅鄉村院子。小院是兩棟雙層小樓相臨的，有十個房間走兩個樓梯。所以即使是滿房狀態也感覺不到鄰居存在。清晨和傍晚在二樓公區可以看到天空中飛過的滑翔傘和熱氣球。院子裏有個特大茶台，空閑時在樓下吹吹風很涼爽。 這裏很安全！老闆是四川人，很佛系也很有耐心。除了每天在某音直播自己幹活的片段就是陪着世界各地的客人聊天解答問題。我住的時候就有歐美、法國、韓國和日本的客人，加上中國的一共有五國客人。遇到的日本小姐姐在去了泰國後又回來住了很久，可見老闆的魅力。老闆是有些鐵粉的，常住的客人也有他的朋友。在院子裏遇到也會很熱情的和客人聊天，推薦周邊遊玩的地方，幫客人排雷。很適合背包客的客棧民宿，也適合又擔心安全又語言不通的人。 如果是對酒店有要求的不建議去住，直接去住阿瑪裏連鎖酒店，以免失望。畢竟老撾不發達，價位也在這裏擺着。對標國內的城鎮賓館就好。
