Costa Riviera Hotel

The hotel is cost-effective and the service is good, from the doorman to the rooms and restaurant. You can book cars and boats at the hotel, but it is more expensive than usual. The hotel is less than 4 kilometers from the river altar of the night festival, which requires a taxi. It is convenient to take a taxi. But Varanasi's road is really bad, and you must be mentally prepared.

The stay was comfortable. During our visit which was in January, the morning and nights were very cold, and the centralized heating system was not working in our room but the ***agement did provide us blowers in the room after inquiring. Food was good, the facilities were clean and the service was fine.

I was in India for 18 days and the food here was probably the best I experienced in that time. They have 2 restaurants, but I believe they serve the same food and charge the same prices. I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in Varanasi

Pros: 1) Location: it’s near Kashi Vishvanath Temple. We visited at new year and this is best hotel to stay if you don’t want to take cabs on new year. 2) Service: the service staff is polite and quick to respond to request 3) temperature in rooms: the rooms are equipped with split ACs so better control than centrally cooled hotels. 4) Food: Food is fresh and well made in A La Carte’ Cons: 1) Rooms are well maintained but you can see aging on walls in form of dampness and leakages on walls. 2) Rooms can be small. Please make sure you select correct room size as per your need while booking. 3) The biggest CON is the lady Garima at travel desk. I had the worst experience with her. First she will try to oversell the package to you. She tried to sell us a cab package for 3500 for the day which would cover Sarnath, Ramnagar fort, Swarved Temple, BHU. And she would try to tell you that you can cover all of them in a single day. Which is not possible. One day is only good enough for Sarnath. She knew I was leaving at 12 and won’t be able to cover all these locations she still tried to upswell the packages knowing fully well I can never cover all these locations. We could never cover these locations and asked for adjusting the price for our next trip but she said no refunds. I would like to suggest to ***agement please keep better folks at travel desk as this is spoiling your name. I came to know that Garima had behaved like this with another couple a day ago.

The overall hotel is not bad, in Varanasi is a cost-effective hotel, the room is clean, the location is OK, not far from the various attractions, the only bad thing is that the waiter level is worrying, the instant noodles in the front desk, actually I do not know The situation opened up.

I came here with my parents. It was a nice stay, morning ***ager was specifically very nice. Some rooms need improvement other than that everything was nice including the breakfast. We enjoyed our time here. Staff was also very helpful, location of the hotel is also nice as its peaceful and away from the hustle bustle of the market.
