This was our first B&B and it was absolutely beautiful. Top notch B&B that made us feel very spoiled.!! We were able to get early check in and late check out which is nice. We stayed in the Italian suite which had a beautiful blue sky above our bed that looked out to the pool and afar. This was the first time we had ever experience a bidet....lets just say-we're installing one when we do our bathroom remodel. We took advantage of the 7 course dinner at the Vine Restaurant. For all who are wondering-All but 2 coursed are set. (You have a choice for the main course and the desert.) My husband and I don't eat weird food and can be a tad bit picky at times and we both agreed that the food was VERY good.!! Oh and the portions are generous. In the morning, you have the choice of coffee, cocoa or tea along with a heart shaped sweet roll before breakfast downstairs at 9am. It was such a fun stay we're planning on traveling over for a weekend this summer.!!

I would highly recommend Cameo for a personalized and pampered experience. From the champagne upon arrival, to the jetted tub, to the rose on your bed, to the chocolates, to the spa robes and slippers, to the heated toilet seat and bidet, to the beautifully strung lights over the pool, to the swings under a tree, to the time capsule and bingo card. Everything is just wonderful. And don’t get me started on the food and plating. Chef is amazing. Even the heart shaped pastries were decadent. Get the couples massage too!

Cameo Heights Mansion is unlike any hotel I have ever stayed! Absolute perfection! We were greeted with a glass of Champagne upon arrival. The Rooms were second to none, beauty, comfort and ,room service was well beyond the norm. The owners were onsite and treated us like Kings! We felt like we were family! The Chef even went out of his way to personally customize our breakfast. We were definitely pampered beyond our expectations, and no detail was left undone!
Response from Property: Thank You!! There is NOTHING more satisfying than to be part of your positive experiance!!! Come back soon!!

My husband and I went for a long weekend for our anniversary. The facility is so amazing and beautiful. The owner and staff make you feel very comfortable. We were given a grand tour of the beautiful mansion and the grounds. The Greek room was so elegantly decorated. Loved the good morning room service to start your day!! Our couple’s massage was fantastic!! The Vine, the in-house restaurant, is fine dining at its best!! We will definitely be back!!

My wife and I travel extensively and Cameo Heights Mansion is one of the most outstanding places we have stayed. Exceptional individually designed rooms with air jet tubs, fireplaces and terrific setting in a four hundred acre apple orchard oasis overlooking the Walla Walla River. Words alone cannot describe the extras available...free movie theater, snacks, wake up coffee and extraordinary complimentary breakfasts. Beds are like sleeping on a cloud. Cameo has devoted their creativity to provide countless extras.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here and had such an amazing time. There were so many unexpected touches in addition to the beautiful location and absolutely amazing food. When you stay make sure you experience the tasting menu for dinner and at least one breakfast. Your stomach will thank you! We loved how Cameo Heights was secluded but also not far from wineries and other points of interest. We will definitely be coming back.

Cameo Heights Mansion suite had excellent service. The suite itself didn't have a mini refrigerator, micro, coffee maker, or a t.v. that was simple to operate. The Vine Fine Dining dining experiences was quite disappointing: very overpriced for ala carte small dishes, and only one and the same seafood all 3 nights and other 3 choices all 3 nights were red meat--not conducive to diners interested in their health! Also, the chef on 7-23 didn't have on a glove on his hand that was touching the food--ugh! The 2 of 3 breakfasts had 3 egg dishes as only choice and no side dishes or substitutions offered.
Response from Property: HI, Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. I'm glad you enjoyed your amenities provided for your stay! I would like to take the opportunity to add some clarification and, of, validate some of the comments. The first item was regarding your comment about a "mini-fridge", microwave or coffee maker in the room. We purposely have made a conscious choice NOT to have those items within the suites as we proved refrigeration in 3 separate areas for guests. The smells left even after you clean a mini fridge can be quite strong for several hours and we do not encourage outside food or snacks. There are (2) Keurig machines in close proximity to your suite for coffee in addition to having a full staff to bring you coffee at any time. The TV operation is often an issue but, as we are rural and have our own cell/internet tower, there is only one provider that can service our needs adequately. As explained to you, there is only one remote to operate for the TV. It has only 4 buttons and a circle to toggle up down, right, left to select. Again, I am sorry but it does offer a couple of hundred channels as well as premium movies. A separate DVD player and remote is provided. As far as the dining goes, yes, ala carte prices are high. We are encouraging an experience, not merely food. Our staff makes everything from scratch based on the number of reservations. We assume everyone dining will be partaking in the full sampling menu. Yes again, we tend to lean towards what our customers are asking for. As I recall, your dietary restrictions were limited to Lactose. Advance reservations we go out of our way to accommodate but if you'd like a rice cake and a salad without dressing fthis isn't the experiance we are providing. As far as a chef not wearing a glove, that would be unusual and I will meet with the staff to make sure it doesn't happen I'm sorry if you experienced that. I will look back on the breakfast menu for the day in question. I will add that you are able to ask for substitutions or eggless/meatless breakfasts. We encourage feedback and are glad you took a moment here. I may suggest that, should you have items either for dinner or breakfast you would like to see, please let us know in advance so we may accommodate you.

We have been going here since it became a bed and breakfast, but sadly we will not be returning. If this is someone's first visit, then they will be very impressed, but we are comparing it to the many times that we have visited. Usually when you have guests that return each year, the guests are made to feel special and welcomed but not the case. Attention to detail was not evident this time. This was not a vacation for us, instead it was another get away that we try and do each month. We travel a lot outside the United States and around the country and we enjoy site seeing, wine tasting and being with friends to relax and feel stress free. Don't misunderstand this review -- this place has a lot to offer a first timer but for the four of us, we will say best of luck to Larry and Stacie.
Response from Property: Thank you for your review and we are very sorry about your experiance this time around. I believe I know what the "spoiler" for you this year was and, as discussed, we will be taking action on your suggestion. We enjoyed your visit last year as well as this year and your concerns are important to us.

My wife and I had the best time at Cameo Heights. We had the English Tudor suite, the weather was perfect and the scenery just amazing. We got in the pool and hot tub and just really enjoyed our stay. Everything was fantastic from the moment we arrived. We chose the early check in late check out option and found that it was worth the small fee. We had an amazing dinner on site so we didn’t have to go anywhere. The owners are wonderful! We are planning on next stay there already. Thank you Cameo Heights!
Response from Property: Hi and THANK YOU!!! We are delighted by your positive expression and really pleased that we were able to provide a great experiance!! Please come back soon!!

First of all we drove 3 hours from our home in Oregon to the site. The "private road" is off a 60 mph 2 lane highway and is not marked. When off the highway, you drive on a ridiculous gravel, pot-holed road over tracks that are without signals or Crossing guards The road is not lit and there is no signage. Right out of Hitchcock. (I mean seriously, it would cost less than 40k to asphalt the road) The road is better at night as during the day you see how bad it is. Upon arriving at 8:00 p.m. as agreed, we were met by an empty desk - no front desk for directions, however the key was in the door of our "suite". When we walked in the room was 75 degrees, stuffy. Our welcoming bottle of wine was warm and the roses wilted. We rushed down to dinner because it closes at 8:30 (on a Friday night!!). We had an average meal - not close to the cost but it was served delightfully. We went to bed only to wake up to the heat going in our room and the temp was 78 degrees. I got Larry the next morning and he said "Oh yeah, the part to fix the A/C was supposed to be here this Wednesday (3 days before our arrival) but did not come and won't come until next Wednesday" He then proceeded to give us a "portable" A/C that had to vent through the door!!! I was looking for Jethro and the rest of the Clampetts. It didn't cool the room during the day and we quickly showered and left. We could not use our room during the day while we were staying there. At night, we opened the windows and prayed the heat would not come on. The problem here is that for a 5 star place NOT to inform us of the lack of A/C BEFORE we moved in is unacceptable. A/C is a represented accoutrement. This is at best extremely rude service and at worst fraud. I don't think their cash flow allows for them to send us to another hotel - I have just had this experience at a Hilton and they sent us to another Hilton, comped our room and we had A/C that night. A Hilton costs half as much as this "Mansion." As to room service - there is none save a cup of coffee and a sweet roll in the morning. There is a very good breakfast served, free, as long as you're up at 9 to 9:45 and go to the dining room. There is no lunch and there is no room service menu. You go to dinner for $89 per person or you don't eat at the "Mansion". We left in the morning and returned after dinner out every night we were there. As to another matter , this place is a 1/2 hour drive from "anywhere". Walla Walla is 30 minutes away as are the tri-cities. So, if you did want a drink (there is no bar at the "Mansion") you drive a a half hr, or food, or a local paper. They also over charged our limo service (a 25 year old POS Cadillac) by 2 hours at a $100 per hour. Finally, this is not a mansion - it has 7 rooms that are gaudily decorated in country themes - German, French, etc. They need to work on their services - they need room service, they need a bar, they need a dumb-waiter, elevator or bell-man - I'm in d
Response from Property: Hi Randall. We are sorry you feel this way regarding your stay. I hate to be on the defensive as we do learn by our mistakes and anticipating expectations and perhaps there are some inaccuracies in your diatribe. Let's start at the top. It is well documented and known that there is a gravel road. It is drug with heavy equipment often and is shared by 3 companies. As discussed with you in detail, the cost for oil and basic ashphalt for a portion is over $250k and $1M to pave it complete..and it's not my road...and that entrance is beign replaced in the not tooo distant future when the new highway is opend. Please feel free to submit a bid and a bond for your $40k guestimate and I'll give you $60k to oversee it. Being an executive for some of the worlds largest construction companies makes me think you have no idea....or experiance in such matters. Now, your information regarding the A/C feeding YOUR room only. We have geothermal A/C & Heat. shipping the wrong compressor happens. The A/C provided temporarily was 14,000 BTU (But, with YOUR construction experiance you'd know that it was more than adequate....also, the ability to turn it on by yourself). Your "agreed upon arrival"? Well, no...you called to say you were going to be in late and I said it's self check in and the resturant was open and if you needed anything you could text our internal app and the entire staff would cater to your needs. No, there is NOT a full bar as this is MY choice to NOT serve hard liquor for sale as this is a romantic destination and in my experiance, hard liquor can clod that...so I don't SELL it.. As far as Hos[itality experiance goes, I owned a 450 room hotel and 250 person resturaunt and night club prior to this by 15 years. Also. I built hotels for others for 10 years.....Now, on to the Limo. 1st, it's not a cadillac, it's a Lincoln in good shape and is NOT 25 years old. It's a little older as all I'm able to find these days for replacemnt have neon floors and look like disco's inside. 112" simple stretch with an elegant look is preferred unless I was providing service for you bachelor party :). AS AGREED IN WRITING PRIOR TO YOUR EXCURSION there is a per hour charge should YOU decide to extend the rental time...big suprise? It was EXPLAINED to you! Apparantly it fulfilled your desires to use it overtime. The Mansion gets regular remodeling and upgrades. The theme is elegance. In closing I would address the fact that had you been uncomfortable or wanted to leave before your stay was up you could have requested a refund for the unused portion. YOU DID NOT and stayed 5 days....also, The closest option for your stay WAS indeed 25 minutes away at a hampton inn. I would have rather you came to me and said you were unhappy and booking the Hampton Inn ...but alas, you seem to be "that guy" who uses resources and doesn't want to pay for them so he complains and disputes his bill. Then attacks me personally....90% of the time I love what I do, what I can provide and my

Great place to stay! Wonderful rooms. Excellent staff and owners. We had breakfast every morning and dinner twice, the food was exceptional. Everything was always clean and organized, the staff and owners go out of their way above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience and a wonderful stay. It wasn't just the big things that they do well, but all the little things and details they do that makes this place special. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax with family or friends with great food and excellent staff this is the place.
Response from Property: Hi Marty!! Thank you for the review and thoughts!! Please come back soon! It was great visiting with you!!

I did not think my stay was worth what we paid. From reading other reviews it seems this place used to get much better reviews in the past. I'm going to start with what did not impress me. Early in our stay I was laying on the bed and my husband threw a pair of underwear up at me. These were not mine! He didn't realize that until I yelped when they landed at my feet. Hello! Gross! I included a photo. Also included in photos, you will see bugs on the floor. I sat in a chair to have a snack and use my breast pump. I looked down at the floor and about gagged. The floor was littered with dead bugs. The photos dont capture it will. There were many between the carpet and wall. I couldn't get a shot that showed clearly what you saw with the naked eye. Definitely lost my appetite and didn't enjoy pumping with that in view. The suite was very cute and could have come closer to meeting my expectations sans the bugs. There was also a lot of visible wear and tear like stains on the carpet, plastic hooks unused on the walls (tacky), and scuf marks on the walls. I'm pointing that out because this is a $300 stay. Breakfast was underwhelming. The fruit and cream was tasty. We ordered avocado toast and the blt. The blt was not toasted which I found odd but, ok. The English muffin was barely toasted. The avocado toast was absolutely flavorless. I ate it all because I needed to eat. The potatoes were Luke warm at best. I ordered sausage and was given bacon. While eating this meal I was so relieved I had canceled our dinner reservations from the night before. If I had paid $100 per person for food that tasted like breakfast I would have cried! Not impressed at all. What went well... The bath in the room was great. I used it twice. The wake up service pastry was delicious! I guess that set a standard for the rest of the breakfast.. The service staff were nice. The view is lovely. I'm sure it's amazing when it's all green. Overall, we weren't blown away due to the parts that were unsatisfactory. I kept thinking of Gordon Ramsay's hotel makeover show and what he might say about the bad parts. I think we would agree with my opinions.
Response from Property: Hello Kelly. Thank you for your assessment. It provided valuable information. An article of clothing left behind is certainly un-acceptable. As for the bugs, while small, we usually do a better job of policing them even though this is a working orchard. After I lkearned of this I took remedial action...so thank you. You advised me of NONE of your findings or opinions until after you checked out. Had you done so, I would have gladly expended my rescources to right your stay to your satisfaction ....but you didn't. As for your refereced dinner reservations, we are a top notch dining establishment and you made a reservation days in advance and cancelled minutes later. Being budget conscious is a good trait and I understand the hard decisions you must make.
