Global Luxury Suites at Tribeca

BEWARE!!!DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Myself and my friend paid for the 2 bedroom 2 bath deluxe apartment. When we are arrive Thursday night the 25th the concierge informs us they do no have the keys to our room. Originally we were told a different room number but they later changed it to another room before we arrived. We attempted calling the 24hour number listed on our agreement but no one answered for hours. After showing proof to the concierge that we are to be in a certain room she then takes us up to our to let us in with her master key. We walk in and there is clearly people staying there. We immediately leave the room and continue to call the 24hour line.still could not reach anyone. I call ******* where eventually they are able to get them on the phone to call me. The lady I spoke was nice however she stated she just off her job and was just getting home so give a few minutes to look up my reservation. She then tries to find us a vacancy available. It is now 2 am. She finds us a vacancy but it is a 2 bedroom 1 bath and it is dirty fingerprints on the wall hair in the sink. The ac was extremely loud as well. We left the next morning and went to the hotel next door.they even stated they have so many people that end there dealing with this property. We didn’t even mention their name the hotel already knew when we said we came from next door. ******* PLEASE TAKE THIS PROPERTY OFF THE SITE!!!

First thing I noticed when I got there wasthe door leasing to the balcony didn't lock, the bed felt like I was sleeping on the ground but besides that it was cool

I arrived to Tribca at 4:30pm to check in. The front desk staff said my room key was not ready and that they do not have any contact with the owner of the apartment so she could not help me at all. After an hour of calls to Global Luxury Suites and *******- I was finally able to have my room key available an hour later. In addition, there was no information about parking. I learned we have to walk almost two blocks to park at a public parking lot and pay for it. I wish this information was provided when booking for awareness. Next time, I will go with a traditional hotel booking with parking and front desk staff who are aware of my booking. The apartment was nice and I have no complaints with it.

Was in town on business and all hotels were extremely expensive or sold out due to the activity that was happening in the city. This was a perfect location and if I had more time I would have taken advantage of the growing area around with the coffee shops and stores. I would stay here again. Some of the admin support prior to my arrival could have been better but once I got there on site the staff was AMAZING, FRIENDLY and ACCOMODATING. A little heavy on the cleaning products and walked into a strong smell but at least I knew it was clean...LOL Thank you for a safe and comfortable place to stay.

Great property. But the Internet didn’t work in my unit and the property owner couldn’t fix it.

Highly, highly recommend. I loved and enjoyed everything about the property and location. I drove there and it was easy to locate. Street parking was plenty, as well as affordable parking garages. It’s walking distance from grocery stores and restaurants, as well as the subway. The property was clean at all times. I stayed there for 7days. Apartment was spacious. Loved the washer and dryer in the unit. Everything you needed was provided. All I bought was groceries. Customer service was prompt, helpful and professional. Not only will I stay there again when in D.C., I’ll definitely book with the company at their different locations on future travels.

There are some really good things about this property, which I will offer below, but first I will say that communication with the manager of the apartments (Global Luxury Suites) is terrible. Note that the person at the front desk does not work for them so is unable to resolve any of your issues. I was offered to extend my stay but could never talk to anyone from GSL to confirm. When I finally reached someone after several phone calls over several days and unanswered messages, they said they were sending me emails to an ******* email - which I don't have. They confirmed my extension, sent me an email with the cost and asked me to confirm again so they could send me the link to pay. I responded and then got a text the next day (the day before checkout) that it was no longer available. I'm not sure I would stay again, because if I had a real problem, I doubt it would be addressed. However, for my stay, the price was extremely reasonable for a full apartment. I like the area and the proximity to the Metro and all of the places you want to be in DC.

The location is very convenient for eating and commute. The property is clean. The bed and furniture are cheap and not very comfortable. Electric was unreliable until I figured the breakers tripped every time I started to iron my clothes.

I love the apartment. I had a one bedroom with a balcony. I love the little gift basket they give you. It’s so thoughtful when I come back I’m and the only thing I didn’t like was limited street parking because the garage was full and there is a lot of homeless people in the area that sleep near the apartments
