A century-old store, you can personally feel the centuries-old vicissitudes of the building. The price is the cheapest nearby. If you want to experience the country style, you can try it. If you are used to staying in domestic luxury hotels, it is not recommended to come here. This hotel was pretty cool and I loved the historical aspect. When we checked in, the staff member was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and recommended places around the area that we did end up visiting and were happy we did! We had an awesome time. I do want to note that the hotel is very old, and very crooked from years of shifting lol. We had a slit under our door that anyone could have slid anything under from the other side that I wasn't a big fan of. There was lots of water damage on the ceilings from over the years. I was taller than my husband when I stood at one end of our room due to the tilting floor, and we laughed about that. It definitely shows it's wear and character which was neat to us but I think it may be helpful for others who may be looking for something a bit different. Keep in mind this is a historical hotel! We woke up to trains going by at 3 am which was also cool but you may want to bring ear plugs if that's something you don't want to deal with. Overall, we were happy with our experience for our Winter getaway. It was unique, memorable and the staff was fantastic!

Very comfortable, homey, unique. Reminds me of the old hotels I stayed in 60 years ago. It has the basic conveniences and comforts we expect today, but don't judge it by the standards of a new chain hotel. It offers the atmosphere, history and quirkiness that the chain hotel can't match.
A real Vermont experience. An integral part of the downtown's artistic/cultural core. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

It has character, from the table lamps in the hallways to the wide, carpeted stairways. The location is ideal -- in the center of WRJ and a five-minute walk to the train station.

The stars were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. There was free onsite parking. I thought it was nice overall. It’s a good value for the money. I recommend and would stay again.

Was nice and cozy. Friendly staff. Had that old school hotel feel but with a modern twist. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

The hotel is inexpensive and has historic charm. However, it is very old and does not appear to ever have been renovated. Rooms have no insulation or noise control. It was very difficult to sleep with all the loud noise in the halls at night and people up and down the creaking stairs.
