Wynwood Boutique Hotel

OMG, where do I start? The Wynwood Boutique Hotel is a beautiful, colorful, and eclectic boutique hotel that looks just like the pictures! Since I traveled solo to Curacao, the best part for me about the Wynwood was it's LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! It is located on Nieuwestraat 4 Pietermaai District, Willemstad Curaçao a street with plenty of restaurants & bars that you can walk to. You can also walk to the tourist areas with the CURACAO & DUSHI Signs, the Chichi Statue, plenty of shops, and the waterfront where the Queen Emma Bridge is located! I'm so very grateful for the ******* VIP Free Upgrade in which Ginger upgraded me to the beautiful Room 8.8. This room was located upstairs and helped me feel safer than being on the lower level since I traveled alone on this trip. Now here are my PROS and CONS regarding the beautiful Wynwood Boutique Hotel! PROS: - I stayed in Room 8.8 which was beautiful as you can see from my attached photos. The room has a nice floating king-size bed with beautiful lighting underneath to illuminate the hardwood floors. - My room included a Mini-Frig with a little freezer which kept the 2 bottles of water and 2 Coke's nice a cold. These drinks were complimentary! - My room also included approx. 6 glasses, 2 plates, a bottle opener, and eating utensils. - My room included a Caffitaly Coffee System, and I searched for a video on YouTube to teach me how to use it. The coffee was delicious. - I loved the colorful walls and the vibrant wallpaper in the bedroom. - It was a very cool tech-savvy room with a Smart TV, and they utilized a QR code (keyless) room access technology. They will send you a QR Code to access your room the day before you arrival. - The Bathroom had a rainfall shower head, and the water had a nice stream and got VERY hot! The bathroom light was a cool and eclectic monkey light over the sink. - Room 8.8 has an adorable private deck area with 2 chairs and a patio table along with a cute Private sign where you can block your area. - Overall, the Wynwood is very safe with a gate that you must use your QR code to access your room, and the courtyard which includes a small pool and cool, vibrant scenic art. - I was happy that I could walk to all of these restaurants for my meals: - Mi Familia - Van Gogh Specialty Coffee & City Roastery, I enjoyed their Orea Frappuccino, - BijBlauw Boutique Hotel restaurant, which had the most beautiful ocean view while I enjoyed breakfast - The Iguana Cafe was my favorite restaurant because it has outdoor seating and is located on the waterfront near the Queen Emma Bridge. The walk is a little further but is worth it. Their address is 6c Handelskade in Willemstad. While having dinner, I saw the Queen Emma Bridge open to let 2 ships and Coast Guard ships ride by. Looks just like the pictures! But the best part about this place is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! It's literally on a street full of restaurants. Walkable to other restaurants! Walkable to the Queen Emma Bridge! Walkable to shops! But, we loved our little apartment that we stayed in. The only thing is the bathroom doesn't have any privacy, meaning glass door so no one can be in the bedroom while you're using the toilet(unless you're ok with that). Other than that we loved it! Definitely would stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family! Oh yeah, Ginger the desk receptionist was AWESOME and Sweet! She helped us every time we stopped by and asked questions!

Stay at this hotel!!! We traveled with two adults and two children (7 & 13) and stayed in the two bedroom apartment on the ground floor. Inside the unit there is a washer and a space out front for line drying clothing. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, sink, stove, basic tableware, dining room table area and kitchen towels. The living room includes a small TV, side table and a sofa suitable for three. You will need to bring your streaming passwords. There are two large air conditioned bedrooms with ample hangers as well as usb ports and American style outlets. There are also European outlets throughout the unit. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has a queen. I would recommend to ask for additional pillows and blankets upon arrival. You may also request a hair dryer. In addition, a nice feature is a separate toilet area and shower area. The shower has hot water but you may need to adjust the temperature in the box attached. Shampoo, body wash and towels are included. The location of this hotel is PERFECT! It is walking distance to many great restaurants and things to do including the fort, water, shopping, the famous bridge, Mi Familia, Bravo (best meal!), ceviches, Vangough, BijBlauw and a great roof top bar. The street itself is very chic and there are two food shops nearby for detergent, pop and snacks. Because it is a great location it can be very loud on Thursday and Saturday nights due to the restaurant next door. I would highly recommend bringing noise canceling headphones or ear plugs for those nights. The rest of the week is fine. Overall the area is very safe and there is a gated courtyard which includes a small pool and scenic art. Would 100% recommend staying at this boutique hotel! Huge thank you to the owner and interns who made our trip awesome!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute hotel. It was close to many cool restaurants, tourist sights, and bus stations in Willemstad. We could even enjoy sitting on our balcony to enjoy the fresh air and night life below. Staff was very nice and helpful in arranging a beach hopping tour. Would definitely recommend!

Wynwood Boutique Hotel is a super unique spot! If you ever take a trip to Curaçao, please check this out! Super friendly people and quick to help with any inconveniences! Wynwood Boutique Hotel was right in the heart of the city which made it easy to go to shops, restaurants, and sight seeing destinations! Highly recommend!

We booked this hotel for 10 nights based on reviews we read and all the reviews are very accurate. First off the staff are all amazing and very helpful. From directions to bringing extra beer they always have a smile. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which gave us access to a patio at the front where we sat and watched the Salsa Dancing from the restaurant next door, and also access to the cozy patio at the back. The bed was so comfortable, the AC amazing and clean!!! The hotel is on a street with a very cool vibe, walking distance to many great bars and restaurants and what we loved is that it was very safe. We felt comfortable walking to Punda and the Queen Emma bridge at night and did this several times. We 1000% recommend this adorable boutique hotel where you can live like a local. You will not be sorry.

Firstly, the owners and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. What sets this boutique hotel apart in Pietermaai is the constant presence of one of the owners and a staff member from early morning to sunset. They go above and beyond by recommending restaurants, cafes, bus stops, providing transportation advice, and suggesting tours around the island. Everything you could possibly need is also conveniently available on their website. Secondly, the location is perfect! Just a 10-minute walk to Punda, downtown Curaçao, and a mere 2 or 3 minutes to an array of excellent restaurants and cafes on the same street. Additionally, there's a bus stop nearby that takes you directly to Mambo Beach. The lively street feels safe, especially for solo travelers walking back at night. Last but not least, the rooms and the pool terrace area exude charm. The stylish, warm, and colorful decor perfectly captures the Curaçao vibe, creating a beautiful and homey atmosphere. It truly feels like a home away from home. After a delightful 4-night stay, I can't wait to return!

A modern take on older buildings. The colours, designs and room layouts are super visually appealing. The staff are friendly and fast to help!

I was attended by a girl when I checked in, she showed me the property and was very friendly. The property is beautiful, clean, trendy. I parked my car in the street, which is safe. In the surroundings, you can dine or have drinks in many places! It is also close to many stores! Bike rentals and ferry near. And Queen Emma bridge is at a walking distance! I went to Curacao as a layover, so I slept in this cool place and had time to get to know some cute spots in this beautiful island! I'm willing to go back to Curacao with more available time because I loved it!! I'll be back!!
