The Rif Corendon Curaçao Op 10 maart vlogen we naar Curacao met Corendon. Aangekomen op het vliegveld in Curacao stonden medewerkers van Corendon al klaar en werd iedereen naar de bus voor de transfer verwezen. Afhankelijk van het Corendon of het Corendon rif hotel kreeg je al op het vliegveld het polsbandje, papieren van de reisleiding en het pasje voor de kamer. Het inchecken in het hotel ging hierdoor snel en soepel. Zelfs bij de late aankomst konden we nog eerst wat eten en drinken. De kamers waren groot, nieuw en van alle gemakken voorzien. De bedden lekker groot en goede matrassen. Onze ‘vakantie’ een nare wending doordat mijn partner ziek werd. De door het hotel aanbevolen dokter E. Lichtveld van H2Care Medical Service was top. Ik was aangenaam verrast door hún betrokkenheid en het steeds informeren naar mijn man’s toestand en hoe het met mij ging, dank je wel Samantha! Uiteindelijk werd mijn man opgenomen en geopereerd in het CMC, waar de zorg ook top was! Hierdoor hebben wij helaas geen vakantie gehad en dus voornamelijk onze tijd doorgebracht in het CMC, dokterspraktijken en op de hotelkamer. Waarschijnlijk doordat dit hotel nog niet lang ‘operationeel’ was liep ik vast in de stugge opstelling van Ella (receptie) Ons verblijf moest verlengd worden. Vanuit de Nederlandse sos centrale werd ik hierin goed begeleid. Alleen wist Ella niet hoe te handelen of ze had er geen zin in om een stapje extra te zetten waardoor ik werd ‘buitengesloten’ en onze hotelkamer niet meer in kwam. Midden in de nacht (Nederlandse tijd) heeft een medewerker van de alarmcentrale toen eea met spoed geregeld. Omdat niet duidelijk was wanneer mijn partner ‘fit to fly’ zou zijn zouden we dat per dag bekijken. Ella bleef stug en onbenaderbaar. Lieve Ella wat menselijkheid en inlevingsvermogen zou jou sieren want jouw starre houding maakte het voor mij nog eens extra zwaar en moeilijk. Hospitality is mijns inziens ervoor te zorgen dat de klant een zo aangenaam mogelijk verblijf heeft.Ik hoop oprecht dat dit voor jou een leermoment is geweest want dit wens ik niemand toe! Toen ik op een middag snel een hapje ging eten bij The Harbor zat dat dhr. A. Uslu. Ik besloot hem aan te spreken en kort de situatie uit te leggen. De heer Uslu zei toe dat hij dit zou doorgeven en ik gebeld zou worden. Binnen een half uur was eea geregeld had ik een contact met Danisha en Quinty. Zij hielpen mij direct verder en zorgden voor een contactpersoon op het eiland Abigail. Abigail en Yannick van de receptie waren mijn ‘reddende Engelen’ Abigail informeerde meermaals daags hoe het ervoor stond en zorgde samen met Yannick dat de kamer steeds weer werd bijgeboekt. Ook werd naar mijn partners gezondheid gevraagd en hielden ze in de gaten of ik deze situatie kon handelen. Receptie medewerkers Timo, Roshenna, Tai-Rock en Tiffanie waren ook zeer betrokken en meelevend. Dank jullie wel voor de steun! I visited Corendon Mangrove Beach Resort with my boyfriend. We had a great time. Staff was very friendly, helped us with everything (shout out to the staff in the lobby). The food was very good and diverse. Loved the cocktails at flamingo bar, we tried a lot of them ;). Definitely coming back to this place. Don’t always trust the reviews you read here! Keep in mind it’s peoples personal opinion. In our opinion it was GREAT.

Nice location. Safe and quiet, not far from the attractions

First class hotel. We have tried several hotels in Curacao over the past few years. The Renaissance Hotel is, in our opinion, the best of all. As soon as you arrive you are greeted in a very friendly manner. Water is offered immediately. The entrance is friendly and nicely designed. Music is played in the lobby on Friday and Saturday. Dancing desired. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. You like to feel at home. The seawater pool has fine sand and it's like swimming in the sea. There is also a smaller freshwater pool. The food can be taken a la carte or as a buffet. The menu is extensive and, most importantly, it tastes really good and delicious. All of this is made possible by the manager Herbert and the so-called navigators Martesano and Jureschka, the service staff Zayra, Zigraina, Sandra, Francesca, and the visible kitchen staff Martina, Isabel, Paola, Lenny and of course Piet. Geraldine Lai takes care of the billing.

We enjoyed our stay at Papagayo Beach Hotel in Curaçao. After arrival, the room did not be all our desires, but we received a upgrade from Landiz de Lima and then had a beautiful room with beautiful views. The location is also very beautiful. The service was top and the staff has helped us very well, especially the girls behind the bar that helped us when arrived to lift the bags up and baby bed. All with a nice stay! ”

So I found this hotel on Tik Tok and I saw a lot of people going for the day to hang out and eat and drink but it seemed as though no one really STAYED THERE. So my friend and I decided to just STAY there. It is a bit pricier than a lot of the other hotels in the area but it looked super cute. I’ll just say we should have just stayed somewhere else and visited Saint Tropez like everyone else. Our shower was broken the entire trip even after talking to receptionist TWO days in a row. It is pretty apparent that they don’t do deep cleanings because it’s sooo much built dust in the rooms and there was hair all over the toilet. The pool side STAFF was AMAZING I MUST SAY. Like that was the HIGHLIGHT of my stay Dorian, Nathan, Sufarmi, Trez && Shawn were amazing and super friendly and helpful. The pool and the views there are beautiful. The drinks are good. The food is OK. And price point is similar to New York Prices, that’s the best way I know to describe it. $10-$14 a drink.

I rarely comment on hotels. I really have to say this time. First of all, we arrived at the hotel at 2:30 in the afternoon. We have n’t checked in yet. We waited until 4 o'clock! The efficiency is too slow. The second is that the alarm bell sounded at 5 o'clock in the morning on the second day of the check-in. At that time, I was sleeping soundly, and was suddenly awakened by fright. Then it sounded again at more than 6 o'clock, and then again at noon. , People are really going crazy! Then there was no explanation! Hey, this stay is terrible
