Westgate Historic Williamsburg Resort Reviews

The room is very nice and has local characteristics of Williamsburg. The surrounding area is quiet and safe. There are many places to eat nearby and it is also close to Willam & Mary School.

每次萊都要住上一段時間，有廚房附近好幾個超市，食材安全，有機食物也多，後面是一大片的樹林和小高爾夫練習場，每天在草坪上看日落非常棒

I booked what was perceived to be a normal hotel room..but in reality we were 2 buildings away (in between and behind two restaurants) the window in the room looking out lead right to the dumpster and to the back parking lot of the one restaurant, my husband looked in, and he walked out and checked out… we went to another hotel near by. There was nothing we saw that was close to “resort” style… other than the pictures online. Maybe I need to look at ALL pictures. Staff was rude when we wanted to check out. The only nice person helped me find the bathroom to change out 8 month old son. This is not a clean place for a baby.

We paid for a room with a jacuzzi. When we arrived we were told we were upgraded to a two bedroom suite with NO jacuzzi. We said no, we wanted the room with the jacuzzi, which is what we paid for. We were told they were all sold out of those rooms and that they could get us in one of those the next day. The next day came and the front desk worker was extremely rude to us when we asked to be switched to the room we paid for. Do. It recommend this place as you cannot be sure that you will get what you paid for. And you will be treated with disrespect when you ask for what you paid for!

Text with front desk offered but failed to reply to request for late checkout until after the check out and then offered 11am at 11:07. Useless. Not a bad place - for the money - but lacks any updates and feels dated - definitely not going back

Tony was great at check in. Very friendly and quick! Bed was comfortable. Bathroom is a little small but worked.

Friendly staff, easy check-in/out. Room was clean. Beds were firm and very comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. Parking right outside room. Walls are a bit thin, so could hear folks in next room. Overall very good experience.

Everything was great except the water heat. Bathroom was cold during the winter and water temperature couldn’t warm up to an acceptable temperature

I booked one bedroom villa and the room was very clean and nice furniture! The bathroom was spotless and had a big jacuzzi. The property has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Highly recommended!!

Great recent renovations and amenities in the room and in the building and convenient location and easy parking

Room was very, very small with a tiny dresser, small bathroom and no sofa or comfortable chair. It is obviously a very old hotel with lots of signs of things worn down but at least there was a fresh coat of paint slapped on everything. The door had big gaps around it allowing too much nearby traffic noises inside the room. A mouse or insects would easily crawl under. No deadbolt. Paint peeling off the wall.

The beds were terribly uncomfortable, very hard like laying on floor. Room and bathroom were very small and had outward facing door directly to parking area. Our last stay we were in the main building which is where we had thought we would be this time, sadly mistaken.
