I have been staying here for quite a few years, now recently refreshed it retains the qualities I liked. Rooms are clean fresh and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent!

This is a boutique bar, bed and breakfast place that has its own character. For a three star rating I think it is more of a four star experience. So if you are doing a road trip and having your own car, it is a great place to spend a few nights and explore the Surrey county. I will come back to this location and try other sisters places given the chance.

This is an old house with extensive grounds and lake. We found the bedroom very clean with good bedlinen and clean fluffy towels every day. The breakfast was excellent and we ate one evening in the dining room and had a very good meal.
The staff were friendly. We asked to change our original room and the change was made without any fuss. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Very disappointed to be charged £5.95 the day after checking out for 'room snacks'. 2 packets of crisps and some nuts that were in the room on arrival turns out not to be a complimentary snack like what other hotels would give you. Called the hotel to find out what the extra charge was for only to be told 'there is a book in the room that tells you about the hotel, breakfast times and snack charges'. I suppose I should have consulted the user manual before thinking the hotel was just being nice to it's guests.

I have stayed here a few times and the staff have always been very welcoming and helpful. The rooms have always been comfortable and clean. This time we stayed in a room which had a bath and a seperate shower and both were great. Wish I could pick this room each time I stay. There is always plenty of parking at the property.
The only issues I had were the glasses, coffee cups and TV were very tiny.
I dont recommend having the sunday roast late in the evening as there wasnt much choice and the roast potatoes were a bit old and hard.
