Fantastic stay at the lovely Rocase serviced apartments. The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated. The service was impeccable, extremely polite and they even spoke English! They couldn't have been more helpful. The food at the buffet was good, though it's a small selection (as it is a boutique hotel, it's small in size). I would suggest perhaps varying a couple of small things in each day just to offer variety - even just the addition of another jam or cereal as well perhaps (although that's a very foreign thing). The restaurant staff were so lovely and went to all the trouble to take coffee orders, offer freshly made omelettes or wonton soup etc. one more suggestion for the serviced apartment would be to provide basic cutlery/plates in the room. There are wine glasses and tea making things, which is great, but no wine opener and nothing to put food on. Though if I was staying for more than a few nights I would buy my own, it's cheap. The location is fantastic, super close to Nanchang walking street, which I really enjoyed wandering around! Overall, great stay.

The old InterContinental has outdated facilities but good service. The front desk also provides free room upgrades. I like the location very much. Taihu Square is just downstairs and very close to museums and libraries. It's still quite far away from Nanchang Street. It takes more than ten minutes by bike and it's very quick to take a taxi. The hotel's swimming pool and gym are very good! Turning down is too early, after six o'clock haha! Stayed for five nights. The breakfasts for the first four days were very good. There were Huishan crispy cakes, small wontons and Wuxi steamed buns, which are local specialties. Western-style breads are relatively weak, including puff pastries. There is only one European bun for freshly baked bread. A baguette. There are quite a variety of cheeses and cheeses. I don’t know what happened to the breakfast on the fifth day. There might be a meeting or something. It was very noisy. At 8:30, a lot of food was gone. It's as small as a mineral water bottle cap... There isn't even a tea bag on the water table... I hope it's just an accident. By the way, points cannot be given to Intercontinental members when booking on Ctrip, so members should consider it themselves.

The hotel has great potential . It is in a very convenient location! Waking distance to scenery spots and easy to catch the bus and subway. The check in procedure was almost non existent. There was one front desk member who could speak English which was nice. The carpets of the elevator and hall ways are soiled with marks and dirty. I was first given a room with a great view on the 17 floor . But it was terrible it looked empty . The walls were dirty with food stains and the cleaning was very poor there was hair and cut nails in the floor . The shower also had black mold . I was then moved rooms and the second room was much better . There was still hair on the floor the bathroom was cleaner . In my days there my coffee cups were not washed . And the basin was not wiped it cleaned . The cleaning abs cleanliness of the hotel and the room really let this hotel down ! The chair in the bedroom were also with marks and not to clean. Overall the room had not sitting place . And looked a little empty. It also had a sensor light which went on at every movement even movement outside of the room which made it difficult to sleep. The hotel is in a good location. The bed is comfy .

I am a coffee lover who needs a cup of coffee after breakfast, so having a coffee machine at the entrance of the restaurant, beside the reception, is a big bonus! I stayed for 3 nights, and hot meals on breakfast menu, such as porridges, fried vegetables and baozi, were slightly different every day. So, it was not repetitive, having some changes every morning. I decided to go to Wuxi on the spur of the moment on New Year’s Eve. After comparing several hotels, I finally chose theirs! Sure enough, there is nothing wrong! Excellent location: The hotel is located in the center of Wuxi, with the subway across the road. The hotel is only a five-minute walk to Suning, Yaohan, Sanyang Plaza and Hang Lung (you can check in to the Internet celebrity toilets)! It takes 10 minutes to walk to Donglin Academy and Xiaolou Lane! It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Nanchan Temple and Nanchang Street, or take a taxi for 8 or 9 yuan! A taxi ride to Yuantouzhu costs around 37 yuan. Basically, the hotel is very convenient for going to all the major attractions in Wuxi! We basically take a taxi because it’s not convenient to park anywhere during the Chinese New Year! 33 Hotel facilities: I was originally worried that the hotel might be too old, but it turned out to be no problem at all. We booked an executive suite with a great view on the 25th floor! The 2 rooms do not interfere with each other! The room is atmospheric, clean, and has no smell 3. The bathroom 🚽 is very functional! Unexpected hahaha! The breakfast located on the 28th floor of the hotel is great! And there was no crazy price increase during the Chinese New Year! Excellent value for money! Service attitude: We arrived in the evening, and the housekeeper Xiaoquan was very considerate. He gave us small pastries, and also gave us very festive red masks and trinkets for the Chinese New Year! The kids like it very much! They even helped us fold our clothes when cleaning the next day! When I was unable to get in my room, I received help within a nanosecond of lodging a complaint. Breakfast was in buffet style, so there were a lot of healthy food choices to select from.
