Excellent choice of hotel. Great location. The busy Zhongshan street is just an exit from the hotel. Lots of good eateries, clothing, shoes and titbits. 10 mins away from Xiamen railway station so very convenient.
Rooms are very large and spacious. Very clean too. The hotel interior could do with an update but it’s ok otherwise. Breakfast is simple. Has the necessary stations but service is rather slow. Friendly though. Staff not all can speak English.
Overall, still happy to stay here and would definitely come back again if I’m in Xiamen.

The hotel was fine. Bed a little hard for western standards, but everything very clean.
Cannot say enough good things about front-of-hpuse Mr Micheal Chen, whose English was exceptional, and politeness incredible. He helped book our ferry tickets to Gulangyu even! If you meet him, ask about Fawlty Towers! 🤣
The same cannot be said of 1 lady working in the breakfast buffet. I got a plate of bread to share and was told if I liked bread that much, then they sell it!!!! It felt like she was always scrutinising us every time we went for food. I doubt she said that to anyone with a plateful of dumplings. It made us feel uncomfortable every time we went for breakfast after that, and that is not a sign of a good hotel. I won't return to Xiamen, but because of her, if I did I'd choose a different hotel.

The hotel location is excellent , the only five stars hotel inside the Zhongshan road, staff are friendly and helpful , but in my case, they don’t speak English and could not offer good help to us. Cleaness is good but could be better. Still highly recommend it

Hotel was conveniently located right beside the metro station, and super near the pedestrian walking street. Enjoyed strolling to the street every night of my trip there, room was spacious and clean! Would definitely stay there again

Pros: Location and hotel staff service is very good.
Cons: air con is centralised type. Unable to reduce the temperature and I end up waking up drenched in sweat at night. Pillows are very flat which is very hard to sleep properly. Need to climb steps to Breakfast area which is a challenge for my elderly parents.

Hotel service is very good including check in counter and Service department staffs. Especially thay helped us to book the tours before we starting
to live in the hotel by e-communication. Room set up is OK. Breakfast food and service are both good too. We were satisfied with this hotel from
our staying.

Very convenient location. The front desk could speak some English and was willing to help, while the hotel was clean but did leave something to be desired. The fitness room was okay.

I booked this hotel last minute and was provided a high floor room with a view. Great location and service. However, the room itself is outdated. The beds were still spring beds and not very comfortable. For a 5 star hotel, i expected more but to be honest, I compared it to some other options and this one was great value for the price in Xiamen.

The check-in and room cleaning staff members at Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen have delivered great service in making our stay there a wonderful one. They are responsive and helpful to our needs. The breakfast spread was a good one and delicious. The manager, chef and waiters at the breakfast restaurant were helpful, service oriented and have a pleasant disposition that helps in contributing to the atmosphere in us enjoying the delicious breakfast.

This Millennium HarbourView Hotel Xiamen is just beside the famous ZhongShan Pedestrian Street. It is a long street which is packed with all the street food and local restaurant.
There are a few local Xiamen souvenir shops along the streets which sells the local candies and biscuits.
If you don't like the crowd there is the 中华城 mall right opposite the hotel with all the international brands boutique and local restaurants.
Next to the hotel is the ZhenHai Road station. The metro is great for visiting the attractions. If you can activate your Alipay with credit card or with a stored value. The Metrol and Bus will be a breeze with the QR Code.
The Hotel staff are very courteous and pleasant. The morning breakfast is decent but not fantastic. Edge towards Chinese breakfast.
The room has the basic amenities. However the furniture and decor is a bit outdated and old. Has a bit of old furniture smell. Cosy room. View of the room is not bad. Can oversee the bustling streets and the architectures.
Overall an acceptable experience, easy location to the Metro and the local food.
