My partner and I stayed here as we had an early flight the next morning. The location is PERFECT for the airport - it was less than 10mins by taxi. Also, the hotel is not on the flight path so you don’t get awoken by planes! The hotel is new so it’s clean, modern and very comfortable. Our only issues were with the staff, who were young and a little untrained. The day we arrived was quite warm and humid and I had problems cooling the room with the air con. When we reported it, we were given conflicting advice and it was kinda blamed on us (eventually, we learned they don’t have a cooling function during the winter months). Also, there was a restaurant attached hosting a party, which meant there was loud, drunken karaoke and cigarette smoke filling the lobby, which seemed inappropriate: I’m not sure why they didn’t just close the doors. I’m guessing the staff are new in the hotel game and still figuring it out, I’m sure this will get better.

True 5* experience!! We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this wonderful hotel! It is exceptional well designed - rooms are spacious, furnished in style and equipped with high end devices. The pool and spa area is absolutely stunning. The restaurants provide you all day with delicious food and drinks. The breakfast was outstanding. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful, especially Jude made our stay very special - he welcomed us very kindly and fulfilled all our little wishes during our stay. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. It’s a quiet oasis in beautiful Xiamen.

We really enjoyed our stay. There was not a lot around the actual hotel other than a Starbucks and some small restaurants. But my husband walked my baby around the beautiful wharf that was nearby.

Let’s talk about Ctrip first. When traveling during the Spring Festival, I used room coupons pre-purchased on other platforms and still had one night left. After comparing the prices, Ctrip’s was the cheapest under the same conditions and I placed an order. After booking, due to personal reasons, I did not enjoy the benefit of free breakfast for my first order. Ctrip customer service took the initiative to help me apply for a cash rebate worth two breakfasts, which was directly credited to my Ctrip account. Marvel at Ctrip’s atmosphere! I will re-evaluate the hotel. The environment, service and catering are very good. The waiters have great attitude. They greet me warmly when we meet. If there is something left behind after check-out, I will call you immediately. The minibar is rich in food, so you don't need to prepare snacks and water yourself during your stay. Potato chips, Snickers, Coke, Sprite, beer and orange juice drinks are replenished in time every day. Mineral water is not like two bottles in ordinary hotels, but five bottles. If there is less, it is replenished. There is also homemade bottled tea for self-service at the front desk. Afternoon tea snacks are also delivered every afternoon (I don’t know if it was hot weather or too busy during the Spring Festival during the few days we stayed. Most of the products delivered were purchased products such as milk and pineapple cakes. It is a pity that there are no homemade desserts as seen in other reviews. Because the hotel's desserts are so good! Looking at the ordinary cupcakes and puddings, the taste is better than that of many specialized cake shops, and the ice cream is better than that of many buffet restaurants. Every day at breakfast, I just regret that I don't have more stomachs. ), and there are also pastry snacks in the evening, which are not big but very delicious. If I were from Xiamen, I would be willing to take a special weekend vacation just for the food. There is also a unique starry sky swimming pool and bicycle riding service. My son goes to the swimming pool to play every night and rides to feed the black swans in the morning. It was a very comfortable stay during my trip to Xiamen! Recommended to every friend who goes to Xiamen!

It was a super last minute booking as my original hotel canceled my reservation. I was able to book through Trip.com and confirm with the hotel within a minute at midnight. Superb customer service! This hotel, despite not being the fanciest hotel around, made it up with the sweet and attentive service of the staff. The evening lady, “Xiao Chen” was extremely nice and helpful. I arrived at 1am and was able to still buy some drinks and necessities in a shop nearby. The room was ok for the price and the bed was amazing! Had such a good night sleep that I even slept through breakfast time! Thank you so much for making my bumpy arrival such a great one!

Booked the 1 Bedroom Suite, room is big with separate bedroom and living room. The suite comes with complimentary daily afternoon tea at the 25 floor Lounge, service at the lounge were superb, with staffs able to address the guests by their names. Jamie, were very friendly and she helped me to arrange the courier service to deliver a package, thanks Jamie. This is my 2nd stay at the Langham in the last 3 months. Both experiences were good. The Langham has been my hotel of choice whenever I visit Xiamen.
