We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our accommodation. The décor is charming and exactly as the photos. Location is perfectly convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We loved the beautiful surrounds and Lyndis warm welcome will be remembered.

It’s really lovely there but getting a bit tired. The dustbin in my bathroom was not emptied. Checked in on a Sunday - and seemed that everyone wanted to get in with their Sunday. I did sleep well, it was very quiet.

We had a lovely stay...i will definitely use your facilities again. The breakfast was fantastic! The rooms were clean & comfortable. The lady who received us- was kind & welcoming. She waited for us as we checked in quite late.

Definitely my go to place when visiting family in Durban. Beautiful gardens and peaceful surroundings! Jane and her Staff are great and very accommodating. Cleanliness - the best! Breakfasts optional extra - always hits the spot!

Lemon Tree is an old colonial style estate situated in a beautiful part of Kloof. It has neat manicured lawns, palm trees, fine flora, tennis court and a swimming pool. The rooms are very modern and comfortable with en-suit facilities. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and homely. The proprietor Jane runs a highly recommended establishment.

Having stayed at Lemon Tree for several years - pre and post Covid - I remain of the view that it is absolutely top rate in terms of service, cleanliness, comfort & value for money. The owner and her staff are on top of every detail and guests truly feel as if they are 'coming home' when they stay at Lemon Tree. For business travellers in and around the Kloof/Gillitts/ Hillcrest area - there is no better place to stay. For tourists en route to the Natal Midlands or for visiting golfers who might have over-indulged at the nearby Kloof Country Cub, Lemon Tree is perfect for a mid-trip break or an overnight recovery!

The Lemon Tree was a perfect stay for us in Kloof.. We were welcomed on arrival and our rooms were beautiful. Gardens are stunning. Staff were very friendly. We will definitely use this accommodation again when visiting our family in Kloof.

We spent four nights at Lemon Tree. Two in the cottage and two in room 2. Both were fantastic, although the cottage had the edge given its complete detachment from the main building. The electric blankets made the chilly nights toasty and the beds are super comfy. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. Would definitely recommend.
