The overall experience is pretty good. Ski in&out is more suitable for middle-aged and elderly people. Young people are all in Nozawa Hot Spring Village.

It was a very enjoyable 2 nights and 3 days! Before going, I was worried about the check-in time. It was from 16:00, and I thought it was late. Arrived before 15:00. I was thinking of just checking in and going skiing, but they let me in as the room was ready. Furthermore, thankfully, I was able to upgrade, saying, "It's convenient for me." I was happy to have a room on the top floor with a high ceiling and a view of the slopes. It was easy to get in and out of the ski area from the ski lockers, and it was also very easy to come back from skiing. I was also happy with the air spray at the entrance of the ski resort. I enjoyed the sunset from the bath and the pool. I was able to enjoy the 3 days \(^-^)/

1: I usually make reservations and stay directly from the hotel website. This time, it is via Online Travel Agent (“OTA”). There are quite a few differences between booking directly from the hotel website and OTA. You will not receive a drink voucher at the lounge. If you are used to having dinner directly booked or staying at the hotel, you may feel uncomfortable (I'm not talking about quality, so I'm just thinking). 2: Housekeepers use indoor shoes, but when entering the room, they also take them off and prepare the room. Everything is well taken care of, including cleaning. It appears that measures to deal with bed bugs, which are rampant in Paris, have already been incorporated into the plan. Bed bugs come regardless of the number of stars or cleanliness of the hotel. Although it is located in the deepest part of the Shiga Highlands, I believe that our responsiveness, including information on base hospitals, is the most advanced among Japanese hotels. 3: "Stella" repeats the bouillabaisse. This is an exquisite dish that can be enjoyed at an altitude of 1600M. The ``ojiya'' at the end is not called risotto. "Ottimo!!" The seafood shabu-shabu at the Japanese restaurant Bonfire is also a favorite. Of course, there's also the end. The staff's service is also very good. These days, hotels everywhere have a lot of new employees due to a lack of manpower. It's the same here, but we're doing our best, "Forza!!" 4: The reality is that it's not all good things. I'm surprised at how lousy the incidents are. The response was also insufficient. It is also necessary to respond appropriately to guests who violate manners (public baths, restaurants). Guests wearing strong perfumes and colognes at restaurants are a total nuisance. 5: Even the standard model has enough space, but with only the panel heater by the window, it gets quite cold from late night to early morning. I have a Panasonic Aeolia installed, but I only use the air conditioner in the summer, but I can't use the air conditioner for heating in the winter. Sharp's commercial humidifying air purifier also has an insufficient water tank capacity and requires water to be refilled twice a day when operating automatically 24 hours a day. In addition, you have to use the drain in the bathtub for water supply, which is inconvenient. It's been about 30 years since we were born, and we've been doing our best, but times are changing too quickly. 6: It has become a hotel that attracts guests from all over the world. In addition to guests from Europe and America, there were also guests from Thailand, Singapore, the Middle East, China, and more. It's a fun talk time in the sauna with a view. There was also a person from Russia, and of course it was "Détente". They sweat and say that they wish the staff had "More Smiles". I tried my best to listen and answer the questions. He said he wanted to talk more with the charming female staff. that's all

You can enjoy wonderful experiences throughout the four seasons. Located in a remote part of Okushiga, you can enjoy a luxurious time looking at the slopes of a wide farm from the balcony and the sunset sky over the Shiga mountains from the open-air bath on the other side. You can choose from Italian, Japanese, or Chinese food, but Italian is especially recommended. All the staff members are friendly and provide a relaxed a**osphere. It's a relaxing place. The purpose of my trip is to take landscape photographs, and I have no shortage of photographic materials. You can also enjoy a drive to see the lakes of Kayano-daira and Shiga Kogen, and sometimes pass through Akiyama-go to Niigata and Tokamachi.

Pine wood, with beautiful knots, is used abundantly inside and outside the building, the rooms are spacious, and the large public bath is clean and has a great view from the glass facing the mountain. Here are some points I noticed during my long stay. 1. The breakfast is poor (the buffet has few items and the contents are comparable to a business hotel, the Japanese breakfast is salty salmon, grilled salmon, bagged seaweed, yellow pickled radish, etc. as usual). 2. The marbled meat sukiyaki is made with soy sauce in the iron pot beforehand, so you can't adjust it yourself, and it gets salty when it boils down (although the waiter said he would come to check on you). The Italian food is delicious, but the Chinese food is no good (there are no condiments on the table and the food is cold). As for the food, it can be said that the sense of elegance is lacking. The cancellation fee for the fifth night is abnormally high at 50%, while other hotels only charge 20% at most if you cancel four days in advance, and I have never seen or heard of such a strict policy anywhere else (probably because they are selfish). In addition, I was charged an additional fee for changing the number of days (this is something that is waived elsewhere). Even though it was a winter sports lodge, they didn't sell lift tickets and I had to go to the center to buy one.

It was a hotel that I wanted to stay for a long time. My first Grand Phoenix, here are my impressions. 1: There is a snow resort called Arlberg in Austria. If Ichinose is San Anton, then the burner is San Christoph in Prince Village and Okushiga is Lech, a luxury resort. From the appearance of Grand Phoenix to the chalet-style hotel, the interior of the hotel and the doors, keys, doorknobs, and door opening/closing devices of each room, we are genuinely particular about it. The floor heating in the spacious and comfortable bathroom is reminiscent of the "Hotel Sacher Wien", one of Vienna's finest hotels. The large public bath on the 4th floor with a Japanese taste is more complete than the 5-star hotels in Lech and Zermatt (Switzerland). It's been a long time since it was born, so there are no IT support, no power outlets, and no power control panel at the bedside, so it's troublesome, but unless it's a 5 star overseas resort or the latest hotel, it's the same thing. The location and facilities for enjoying skiing (including lockers) are of a high standard. 2: I think there is more room for improvement in terms of the number of staff and their proficiency in terms of software compared to hardware. This phenomenon is not limited to Shiga Kogen and can be seen at any resort due to lack of manpower. Compared to the accommodation facilities in Zao, which gave up on improving the quality of service for guests from the beginning and made excuses from the beginning due to the situation, I feel that the aggressiveness of management and on-site top management, which combines flexibility and humility, is very favorable. As long as the staff who are full of improvement are also reliable. It comes naturally. I think there are some hotels, both in Japan and overseas, that are trying to recover from the COVID-19 blank of the past three years while suppressing the operating status. Grand Phoenix, suddenly I felt that distortion was coming out in the operating situation close to MAX. 3: On the 2nd floor, there are multiple restaurants and lounges that can be used by non-guests as well as ski lockers for guests. I want you to do your best in toilet maintenance in places where people concentrate. I would like to say that there is no misunderstanding, but it is not that the management situation is bad, but that there is still room for improvement. Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono's toilet situation is the highest in the world. Park Hyatt provides in-house footwear for lunch users (including non-guests) at the ski cloakroom. It would be difficult to set up a new ski cloakroom and a space for changing shoes at Grand Phenix, but the squeaking sound of ski boots and boots that restrict body movement are appropriate for a 5-star hotel restaurant or lounge. I think it would be good to make the accommodation plan "Full Board Services" and limit the use of lunchtime by non-guests. It's a shame to see a Gran Phoenix that is not crowded and quiet at lunchtime. 4: It's time to eat. As for breakfast, I was dissatisfied with both Japanese and Western food for a 5-star hotel. It would be nice if it was up to 3 ☆ level, but it is 5 ☆. The first is that the options are very limited. In Japanese cuisine, you don't even have options in the first place. I felt that it was miso soup with hot silver rice. In Western food, they showed their flexibility. We had a cafe au lait with delicious baguettes and large bowls. Thanks to that, the hotel's proud chestnuts and apple jam were added to the baguette and dipped in the cafe au lait and it was delicious. For dinner at "Stella", you can choose 5 types of antipasto from the wagon. The level is high from the other stage. Grissini on the table in advance, northern Italy. It's delicious to add salt to young olive oil and dip it into the grissini. It can also be used for the baguette that comes out after that. For the second time at Stella, I ordered the bouillabaisse, the master chef's masterpiece. M****ille's Fonfon and Toulon's Letran are delicious, but it's amazing to be able to eat a luxurious bouillabaisse made with high-quality ingredients from Grand Phoenix at an altitude of 1500M. Tightening is a risotto with bouillabaisse. The core was firmly left in the rice. However, as a Japanese person, I thought that the bouillabaisse uncle was still there the day before, because the feeling of the closing of the seafood hot pot of "bonfire" remained. Expectations are rising for the next "Soup d'oeuvres". 5: A washing machine and a dryer are installed on the B1. There is also detergent. 200 Yen for washing and 100 Yen for dryer/30M is very cheap. A washing machine 400 yen and a dryer 100 yen/5M are also available. Only here is 3 ☆. Thank you. However, it is separate instead of washing and drying, and there is no privacy function (no password lock function). It is very troublesome to have to go to the B1 to check the availability and the operation status on the TV monitor in the room. 6: The hotel shop closes at 20:00, I don't think so! ! Okushiga is like a solitary island on land. When you want to eat something small at night, it is difficult with individual product lineups. I think it would be good if there was consideration to be able to eat various jams that are proud of in the room. I wish the various breads baked at Grand Phoenix were also on sale. There must be circumstances on the hotel side, but would you go out of your way to purchase apparel? I don't think it's a 5 star if it's a souvenir or something you see at other accommodations in Shiga Kogen. If you are staying for a week or longer, you may find the hotel shop inconvenient.

Stayed here for 4 nights on a ski trip. It has a pool and I thought that I could relax on bad weather days, so it was a hotel I longed for. The advantages such as direct access to the slopes are good, the ski lockers are easy to use, and the compactness is good. The food was delicious, both Japanese and Western. However, I couldn't choose the dinner time here, and it started at 7:30 pm and ended at 9:00 pm. . In the restaurant, Asian people were talking loudly and honestly it was noisy. The morning buffet food is too ordinary and has no feature. The bath was small and full of karan, and I was waiting naked. The hot water in the bath is not clean. A young staff member who just came yesterday said that he would confirm anything I asked. . . . The quiet and calm a**osphere of the building is good, and the slopes are empty, but I felt that there were times when I couldn't be satisfied with everything. Did it happen by chance?

I stayed here with my grandchildren during the summer vacation. The plateau at an altitude of 1,600 meters is cool and comfortable even without air conditioning, and although it is not a hot spring, it has a large public bath and a pool. I participated in the Okushiga trekking tour, and I think it's a wonderful hotel to stay longer and fully enjoy Okushiga, as there are plenty of activities available not only in winter but also in summer.

I haven't traveled for about two years because of Corona, but I visited this time. Other word of mouth says there is unevenness in customer service? I saw a lot of harsh opinions, but I was able to stay very comfortably. I felt that the staff members had changed a lot, but thank you for everyone's heartfelt response. It feels good to see the veteran Italian manager still responding quickly and accurately. Is it disappointing that you can no longer watch the self-broadcast image video of the old hotel? It felt pretty good... The food was Italian, Chinese, Italian, in that order. The only thing I was concerned about was the reception of visitors to the hotel pool and sauna. Having said that, once you stay at this hotel, you will definitely want to become a repeater.

It was a warm and welcoming hotel. The people at the front desk and the people at the Italian restaurant were kind to me. You treated me in a pleasant way. It was summer, so there were a lot of insects in the open-air bath, but it felt good. I think winter would be great with snow. Italian is also delicious. Outdoor yoga is the best! It is an option that you should definitely do as it is fun to proceed in English! In addition, the firefly option is a must in the summer. You will be immersed in a space where you can't tell if it's the stars or the light of the fireflies. It was fantastic and inspiring. It's a lot of fireflies while looking at the constellations (^^) The driver also went with me and talked a lot. I want to see this firefly every year. Trekking is also possible and you can enjoy the fresh air. One disappoin**ent was the response of the caterer in Japanese food. There was absolutely no hospitality towards customers, such as bumping into customers and trying to lower them while they were still eating. Was it due to lack of manpower? Other than that, it's great, but there's one thing that's really disappointing.
