Mayangone
Great hotel close to the airport and reasonably close to town. The hotel has shops/restaurants and easy access to both downtown and the airport. Stayed 1 night after arriving in Yangon. The hotel is very slick, well run and professional. Check in was easy and straightforward. The staff were helpful, friendly and informative. There is a bar and coffee shop serving Lavazza coffee and other guest services too. The room service menu is good and spa services are very reasonable too. The room was very clean and had a nice, modern over sized bathroom. Although breakfast starts at 6, the restaurant is functioning and fully operational by 5.45. I was leaving to catch an early flight and managed some breakfast before leaving. A big thank you to reception and the chefs/breakfast staff for being very organised. Overall a good stay in a decent hotel. Would recommend.
Hotel Grand United - Ahlone Branch

The printed wallpaper and brown tiles in this hotel building are reminiscent of the 1960s hotel, but the hotel is cleaned and comfortable to live in. The hotel offers free water and a kettle, the bathroom in the room is the right size, and the view of the city is visible from our room on the tenth floor. The decoration of the hotel and the furniture inside look a bit shabby, but the bed is very comfortable. The hotel's breakfast is really good, and the hotel's dining room is very large, with a high ceiling inside, reminiscent of the communist-era house. The hotel's buffet food has a lot of choices, there are cold dishes and hot dishes, and you can eat eggs. The hotel staff are very good, very warm, very professional, very friendly, and very pleasant to talk to them.

Super Hotel Thilawa

I use it on business trips. I think the price is reasonable and the quality service that is not the same as Japan is provided. There is no problem with access because it also corresponds to pickup at the airport. The breakfast is delicious. I hope that various facilities such as training gym will be substantial in the future.
Vintage Luxury Yacht Hotel

Breakfast is very Chinese, there is noodles, porridge is not good, you can eat very well, everything is retro, nothing discomfort is good. If you pack a car like me, all the sights are not far away. You can take off all the pagodas in one afternoon. Prepare a wet tissue room. Mosquitoes will stay in the middle of the night. If you don’t stay up late, you won’t feel the light is very dark. The waiter is very warm. English is very good.
