Hotel G Yangon
"I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was very nicely located next to a local restaurant where we had breakfast. The rooms were very comfy and is really close to a local money changer with good rates. Although we did not have a chance to go to the gym, we saw it was huge and fully equipped from the outside."
Pan Pacific Yangon
"We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The infinity pool is awesome and we enjoyed how it’s connected to a mall. We found the good at the hotel to be a bit pricey so the mall was a good alternative."
Hotel Balmi
"Balmi Hotel is located in the heart of the city, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was reasonably clean, offering a comfortable stay. However, I did encounter an issue that needs attention. I spotted two small cockroaches during my stay. While this did not ruin my experience, it needs to improve pest control measures. Addressing this would greatly enhance the overall quality of the stay. Despite this, Balmi has a lot to offer and could easily be a top choice for travelers once this issue is resolved."
Prestige Residences at Golden Valley by Grand United Hospitality
"Nice hotel, a 17-minute walk to Shwedagon Pagoda. Be more selective with your room choice upon arrival, as on the first night, my friend and I were given a ground-floor room with a view of pipes, a single bed, and a narrow toilet. After I requested a change, we were moved to a room one floor up, with two beds and a view of the neighboring rooftops. The staff are friendly and attentive; they'll help with any extra requests and you can store your luggage for free. Breakfast is a bit sparse, no boiled eggs, but otherwise, it's decent for an Asian-style breakfast. Be prepared for crows to swoop in on your food if you step away from the table, though the staff are on guard!"
Green Star Hotel Yangon
"It’s very clean, and I felt comfortable and safe staying there. The location is slightly inconvenient and a bit far from the city center, but there’s a large shopping mall nearby, so it’s not too inconvenient overall."
PARKROYAL Yangon
"Good stay for biz traveler"
Hotel Grand United - 21st Downtown
"The reception staff was extremely helpful, from guiding me around the city to any other requests I had I was unwell on my last days in Yangon and the staff helped me with a late checkout I appreciate all their help and assistance and extremely good service The hotel is in the middle of china town and lots of shops and hawkers for food and fresh fruit are around Hotel is walking distance to downtown and sule pagoda"
Yangon Thanlwin Hotel
"This hotel boasts a super convenient downtown location, surrounded by numerous restaurants, shops, and even a shopping mall. However, be aware that it gets very crowded with people and traffic during the day, and can feel a bit chaotic at night. The staff are well-trained and genuinely helpful, and the overall service, including housekeeping, is excellent. The room was spacious – perhaps even too big for one person. The bathroom facilities were clean and easy to use. My only minor wish is that the lighting in the room could be a bit brighter. Breakfast was decent, but it felt a little less impressive compared to other hotels in Yangon in the same price range. If you enjoy Chinese or Indian cuisine, you'll probably find it satisfactory. Overall, if you're looking for comfort and a central downtown location, this hotel is definitely a solid choice."

Governor's Residence
"Review: The Governor’s Residence, Yangon The Governor’s Residence remains one of Yangon’s most atmospheric and elegant hotels, combining colonial charm with modern comfort. Nestled in a quiet embassy district, the restored teak mansion, once the home of a British colonial governor, immediately impresses with its graceful architecture and tranquil gardens. Approaching through leafy pathways and lotus ponds, guests are welcomed into an oasis that feels far removed from the bustle of downtown Yangon. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, featuring polished teak floors, four-poster beds, and traditional Burmese textiles that reflect the building’s heritage. Balconies overlook either the lush gardens or the inviting fan-shaped swimming pool, creating a sense of calm retreat. The service is consistently warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive, with staff eager to share local knowledge and assist with arrangements. Dining is a highlight. The open-air restaurant offers refined Burmese and international dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and presented with flair. Breakfast under the wide verandas, with tropical birdsong in the background, is especially memorable. Afternoon cocktails by the pool or an evening meal by candlelight evoke the romantic grandeur of a bygone era. What sets the Governor’s Residence apart is its atmosphere: it is not simply a hotel but a living reminder of Yangon’s colonial past, reimagined with comfort and grace. Whether visiting on business or leisure, guests leave with a sense of serenity and timeless elegance. For those seeking a blend of history, luxury, and authentic Burmese hospitality, this residence is an exceptional choice."
Zealax Hotel & Residence
"First time staying here for a business trip, and my overall impression is: the facilities are quite new, the environment is good, breakfast is plentiful, and it offers great value for money. Plus, there's no traffic congestion, making it convenient for getting around and to the airport."
The Strand Yangon
"Very nice staff, and beautiful room !"
Shangri-La Serviced Apt Yangon
"We had a wonderful time at this apartment in Yangon in September .The room was spacious, clean, and very cozy, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. I'd especially like to mention the staff – incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to help. A special thank you to AK for organizing our vacation. He completely organized our sightseeing tour of the city and the trip to the Golden Rock! The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, including at reception, created a feeling of homey comfort and genuine hospitality. The service was top-notch: from the quick check-in to the smallest details, everything was thought out and organized with great professionalism. This stay opened up a special light to the city, and we know for sure that on our next trip to Yangon, we will definitely stay here."

Rose Garden Hotel
"bad breakfast."
Esperado Lakeview Hotel
"I booked a premier double room with city view Queen size bed via Trip.com The room I booked had a balcony, but when I checked in, it turned out that the room I got did not have a balcony, so I complained to the staff. The staff were happy to upgrade me to a room with a balcony. They were very enthusiastic. I really like the room. The room is spacious and comfortable. The price is not as expensive as you think. The hotel is located near Kandawgyi Lake. You can walk to Kandawgyi park for exercise or relax. However, there is no safe in the room. For those visiting Yangon, I recommend staying at this hotel."
Hotel Parami
"Wow it was amazing to watch World Cup Final in big screen on roof top. The staff are amiable and stay was great. They arranged travel and guided me to go to safe and famous places for tourism. This hotel is highly recommended."
Hotel Lavender
"Decent hotel with a view of Shwedagon Pagoda. The staff really cares about their guests. The WiFi was pretty bad. On the second day, they gave me a personal phone with a hotspot to get online. It wasn't much better, but the staff's willingness to help is highly commendable."
Best Western Chinatown Hotel Yangon
"Stayed 5 nights at this hotel with an entire football team (players & staff). Hotel staff and management worked really hard to accomodate the demands of our team (dining, gym, internet, etc.). Because of the staff and quality of the hotel amenities & food, the stay was very cozy and welcoming. Kudos to the manager and staff! Salamat!"
