We booked the Melia Purosani directly through their website for a number of stays as it provided a good value price which included a 10-minute massage per room booking, a discount on food, and a room upgrade. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a ”Level” room on the sixth floor which came with Level Lounge privileges including afternoon tea. Having re-booked for three separate nights our expectations were that we would receive the same benefits. It seems our first stay involved a better-than-usual upgrade and we were very embarrassed to be turned away from the Level Lounge on our next stay - despite being in a Level Lounge room. Live and learn! The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are well-presented. Reception staff is courteous and helpful, and so too was the concierge at the Level Lounge who ”righted” the embarrassing situation we faced. The gardens and pool area are tropical, leafy, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was adequate, but not super fast/ The property is within easy walking distance of Jalan Malioboro and other local attractions. I have rated the hotel's less-than-excellent restaurant El Patio separately. Truth be told, service and afternoon tea in the Level Lounge was superior to the restaurant.

We stayed on 14 - 16 february and booked our room with Agoda and the room was a good size, the hotel is beautiful and has all the amenities, so we applaud their environment. The front desk staff were very nice. Especially Heru, who arranged our trips and acted our tour driver . He took us trip to Borobudur , mount Merapi and Prambanan because on as we were not familiar with Yogyakarta. he also helped us to contact and book hotel at bromo , very patient and enthusiastic, emphasized all the details. It was a great pleasure to meet Heru.

Stayed in this hotel in November. Room was on ground floor near to pool. Price was excellent £19 per night including breakfast. WiFi was good but air con could have been a bit stronger. Staff so helpful and polite , better than some more expensive hotels I’ve stayed in. A lot of school parties stay but I didn’t hear any noise. Food in restaurant was good . Not far from restaurant and bar area, quite a walk to Palaces and Main Street but taxis and other transport cheap., about half hour walk. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

When entering the room, the pillowcase has jigong & smelly spots. Like it was used by previous guests & not replaced. Even though in this pandemic season it is very dangerous if it is not replaced. Apart from that everything is ok.

I stayed 1 night here and tried for the first time as seeing the photo of the hotel which looked very interesting. The location is quite good and the facilities available quite complete like water heater available in the room. i didn’t try the breakfast.check in went well,room was also clean and looked a bit unique as the floor of the room still using tilin.staff were friendly and pleasant.pool was too open and small.

My brother and I stay for one and half day here, we are from bandung and I driven from bandung to yogya by my self. Since we came to jogja too early at 3am we would like to early check in, we were too tired and wanted to rest of our body. Its fine for us to paid more. But we are not allowed to check in early before 6am. They really strict to the rules of hotel without paying attention to the guest. It such of fools when we waiting until 6am in outside of the hotels. Until I do a negotiation with the FO, like begging to allowed us came to the room at 5am, they said that they scared their manager will angry with them if he allowed us to check in too early. Really such of shame thing, parking is quite small too, the room, its not like standard horison hotel that i ever stayed. If I come back to Yogyakarta again, I extremly will not come back to stayed at this hotel anymore. And I will not recommend this hotel to all of my friend who would like to visits Yogyakarta at all. Disapointed staycation ever had in my entire life.

The hotel has been renewed recently so everything is very clean. It's a family run business so the staff is very friendly but efficient. The rate is light but service excellent. The location is perfect (walking distance from Mediterranea to have Breakfast, kunch or dinner) and all the other delicious restaurants around. Close from the Sultan palace (Kraton). Friendly night life for backpackers.

During my trip I've always looked for a hotel that is affordable and car friendly and easy access. This hotel is near by many attractions but not within a walking distance, could but taking a little longer and I am on time limit. Becak distance yes. Located on a small street but they have parking space. The hotel very heritage looking. They have small pool compared to the many rooms they have. I did not see any elevator. They have a big open space in the middle of the hotel and the room is small but enough for just sleep and transits. Breakfast was standard. Not many options but enough for a quick breakfast. The restaurant design is very javanese i love it!

The place is ethnic and natural, with outdoor bathrooms and shades of bamboo making bathing in the morning feel like returning to nature. the staff are friendly and very helpful. The internet is also good I can write and browse while enjoying my vacation in Jogja. The location is easy to find because it is on Prawirotaman 2 street opposite the Greenhost hotel.
