Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Return
When I arrived, the front desk suddenly handed me a form and somehow assumed I chose the “no housekeeping” option. The next day, I had no idea about this misunderstanding, so I hung the “Please clean my room” sign on my door before going out. When I came back in the afternoon, nothing had been cleaned.
I went downstairs to ask, and they told me I had voluntarily chosen not to have my room cleaned. That was absolutely untrue. Who would choose “no cleaning” right at check-in?
What made me even more upset was that the housekeeping staff were still on the floor cleaning other rooms at that moment. But when I asked them to clean mine, the staff said everyone had already gone home because it was past 2:00 PM. In the end, I had to clean the bathroom myself even though I paid the full room rate.
The staff were not friendly, and the breakfast—priced at 2,200 yen—was disappointing. It included only one small piece of fish, and the rest were mostly salty side dishes. We tried it once and skipped it the next day.
The room itself was extremely small, with barely enough space to open a suitcase. The layout was strange as well: even though the room was tiny, they added a large raised platform in front of the bed, which wasted valuable space for no reason.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience for me. I would not recommend this hotel.
