Wenxi Lanyue Homestay (Furong Town Waterfall Branch)

Clean n modern room beside the river but not overlooking the big waterfall. The balcony overlooking a small step that generate nice water flowing sound. Better to be at bottom of valley looking up to the buildings on the hill especially at night with nice yellow glow. Very near to walk to big waterfall n jumping steps across the stream.

We had an awful experience on arrival. We were offered upgrade but hotel people said they did not receive anything. Then Trip agent proceeded to ask if I can accept no upgrade out of no where… I mean if the upgrade cannot be fulfilled then don’t offer it a few days prior to our check in. We also figured that it is because the owner suddenly sold the room to someone else so the room that we were supposed to be upgraded to, wasn’t available. Eventually they did honour & they have to move the other person to another room as we were the one who were promised to get it first. All in all we did get our upgraded room as promised but it took almost an hour and it was so messy, wasted my time. Would I want to pay premium to waste my time like this? To be honest, no. Secondly, this is an inn like someone’s house. It is RIVER facing NOT waterfall facing. The pictures by other reviewers are so deceiving! They kept saying this is the actual view and posted some huge waterfall. But it’s not true. See MY pictures for the actual window view. The inn is located at the entrance so it’s definitely no where near that you can see the main waterfall! I’m taken aback because I chose a more expensive inn so I will be safer but turns out it’s just any other inn. We were anyhow thankful that the location itself is away further from the bar so it’s less noisier and eventually thank the host lady for settling us in. But if you are looking for waterfall view- this is not the place to go for.

Staff so nicely and helpful amazing staff and hotel location is good next time I will come here again.

Located inside the historical Furong Town. Hotel is a historical building and clean. Balcony can see pretty night view. Walking distance to all the tourist spots inside the town.

The host is pretty friendly. If you get picked up by the host, the host will park the car outside the entrance and you have to walk with your luggages to the hotel. Not far but should be communicated earlier. Host will help you carry the luggage. Hotel room is clean but because room is near the river, there are a couple little bugs like mosquitoes.

Like to commend the host for her hospitality and helpfulness. Room is very clean and well maintained. Convenient location and place is not difficult to find too! Will recommend this place to stay!

Very good hotel with great location near the water fall. The owner is also very very friendly and helpful with our luggage and transportation service to/from the train station. Clean big cozy modern room. Nice comfy beds. Overall had a very pleasant stay. Very recommended hotel in furong ancient town. Thanks
