The hotel was very nice and close to the city centre.
The room I was put in was an accessible room, which I did not book nor agree to. I feel this negatively impacted the experience.
The air conditioning unit was making loud rumbling noises all through the night, causing me to not have a good sleep.
The room was cold, even with heating, and due to the accessible room, there was no shower lip and the room was very wet following a short shower.
Not too impressed, would be unlikely to stay again.

We booked a courtyard hotel, which is located on the first floor. The lobby has a retro style, with a bar and restaurant. The courtyard in the lobby is just average! !

This is the most satisfying hotel I have stayed at during this trip. The location of the hotel is just right, ten minutes away from the train station and York Minster, so it is very quiet with no tourists to disturb it. The hotel has a classic appearance and modern furnishings. The facilities are very complete, but it is a pity that I only stayed for one night and did not use them. It has been more than ten days since I came to the UK. Because of the jet lag, I slept the best tonight.

There are many seats in the entire lobby where you can rest and wait. Your luggage can be stored at the front desk in advance. The lady is very nice.
The shortcoming is that the hair dryer that should be provided in the room is not available. It was sent to the room after requesting it from the front desk. In view of the fact that our previous Chinese guests also reported that there was no hair dryer. I suspect there are not enough hair dryers.
