Mount Yandang Linfeng Shanshe Guesthouse

This guesthouse is right next to Lingfeng Scenic Area, which was super convenient for enjoying the night views. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, and parking was easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. Plus, there's an adorable cat there that I got to pet!

I suggest you lower your room rate. Perhaps your location is good, but the Lingfeng Scenic Area is worth visiting if you have time, but not essential if you don't; it's not the essence of Yandang Mountain. For this price, you could stay at a place in Fangshan, Yandang Mountain, where the facilities, location, and food are much better. In short, the service and facilities are just average and not worth it.

The guesthouse is very close to Lingfeng Scenic Area, practically right outside (it felt even closer than walking from the parking lot to the entrance). The scenery was beautiful; the photos were taken from the guesthouse balcony. Service: The manager was very helpful, giving us many travel suggestions and offering a late check-out. They even gave us a souvenir when we left. Outside of holidays, you can take a taxi directly to the entrances of various attractions, which is cheaper than buying a shuttle bus ticket. We visited Dalongqiu, Fangdong, and Lingyan in the morning, then returned for a nap before heading to Lingfeng Scenic Area.

The location is excellent, very close to the entrance of Lingfeng Scenic Area, with a view of Lingfeng from the room window. The decor is solid and of high quality, and there is a lawn and parking space in front of the room. The breakfast is plentiful, and they even prepared something special for us who prefer vegetarian meals.

This trip included a stop at Yandang Mountain. Because we had children and elderly people with us, we chose a guesthouse close to the scenic area. First, the advantages: the guesthouse was very close to the scenic area, only a 3-5 minute walk. However, the overall experience at the guesthouse was not good: 1. The guesthouse had three floors but no elevator. Each family had a lot of luggage, and the elderly people had difficulty walking. There was only one receptionist, and the guests were hesitant to let a young woman carry the luggage up to the third floor, so they carried it themselves, making several trips. 2. The guesthouse rooms faced south on one side and were shaded on the other. Our room was on the shaded side, and opening the curtains revealed the balcony of the guesthouse next door. It was so close that we could see everything, so we had to keep the curtains drawn at all times. 3. The hotel only provided two free bottles of water. If we needed more bottled water, there was an extra charge of 5 yuan per bottle. 4. The hotel's cleanliness was appalling. My child found an insect in the sink while washing up in the morning, which terrified them. We don't know what it was, but we took a picture.
