There is also a hot spring (source) entry fee of 360 yen per person, but even if you check out the next morning, they will store your luggage until you return, and you can take a bath on the way home at no additional charge. We had dinner and breakfast without rice at a convenience store (Family Mart), which was a 5-minute walk away. You can make full use of it. The owner seems to be a bit blunt, and there seem to be a lot of mixed reviews, but I think you'll have a good time as long as you're well-informed and don't expect too much service. The woman at the reception also remembered what happened a year ago and was very polite. The hotel itself has an old Showa feel to it. The hot springs are hot. You'll be disappointed if you don't know that the sauna is an extra charge (500 yen per session and must be reserved 2 hours in advance). There is a hair dryer in the room, but not in the bathroom. Last year, when I used the hair dryer in my room, the breaker tripped, but I fixed it by putting the bar back on. Breaker was also okay this year. Rental skis are waxed and well-maintained. The shoes looked a little old, but if they didn't fit, they would adjust them the next day. It was the worst hotel of my life. Even though we had set a time, the owner didn't pick us up at his own discretion and made us wait for over 45 minutes in the snow.During that time, even though we called a taxi, we couldn't get one because it was New Year's Day, so we called the front desk or mobile phone.
