absolutely loved this place! such a pity that I only had time to stay for one night. amazing staffs/people running the place, they were so welcoming and kind and took care of me knowing that I am alone, they invited me to join them for lunch! weather was not very forgiving during my stay, so they were very kind to offer me an upgrade to their beautiful rainbow room multiple times for me to rest better. I just love this place and the people, will definitely be back again to try out their rainbow room finally!

By Far one of the best experiences I have had in a hotel in China. The staff are so helpful and kind. They take so good care of your whole trip, including recommendations on the best things to do around the scenic area! I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to my friends and anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

Totally , the bubble house was nice. During the day, it was so hot. But I can say it was a amazing experience.

This hotel is truly a gem. It has a great location for access to Zhangjiajie National Park, it is a beautiful venue, and it has great food. If you are the type of traveller looking to relax, book this place with some of your friends and make it your home for your trip. The owners of this place are remarkable. They clearly care about helping travellers have a better time and they are very facilitating. They helped make our trip very special, and I guarantee they will do the same for you.

All round an excellent hotel! Very friendly staff, happy to bring/collect us from the national park, even late at night. The photos in the listing are genuine and match the quality of the rooms. Very authentic decor and a 5 minute drive from the national park. The breakfasts were the best meals we had for the whole trip (Zhangjiajie lacks decent restaurants).

If i could give 100 stars to this hotel, i would. We enjoyed every moment there. The staff was super friendly and polite. We felt like we are not staying at a hotel but our own place. It’s on the most convenient location for visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest park. Every room from glass house to little rainbow houses were really unique. During our stay, host helped us with transfer to National Park and planing our visit and days. Breakfast was homemade and really delicious. To sum up, our stay was perfect and we will definitely come back here! ❤️☀️😍

I can't imagine a better place to stay (if you go in this area) The Hotel is very close to the south gate of the Park - but to Hotel and the owner are so great - that i just can recommend to plan some time just to stay there :)

Really nice hotel with excellent service. The staff is more then friendly and helpful! We loved our stay here. The kids could even enjoy a night in the glass cube.

We had a very nice stay, we stayed 3 people in one room. The room we stayed in was very big and had its own unique style. It was very clean. The hotel is very close to the South Gate of the park. It's a little hidden away from the road, but they were very quick to come and pick us up and drove us to the park entrance every day free of charge. Breakfast eggs come from free range chicken on the ground and they were excellent. Over all the food was very good. It's a small hotel run by a family and they are all very nice and helpful with planning your stay. Location is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The BEST hotel in all of China To begin with, the hotel is absolutely beautiful! We didn’t believe it, but we were the only ones staying at the hotel, so the owners have allowed us to stay in the rainbow house and the bubble house in addition to the couples suite we booked, so we really got to experience the most amazing rooms we have ever stayed in! All the rooms are clean and have all the amenities you can need, and the hotel offers free laundry which we used because our flight (fortunately for us) got cancelled 😊. Moreover, we came to celebrate our anniversary and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, from picking us up from the airport with a bouquet of flowers to setting up a table with a cake, wine, candles and fruit to make a really romantic dinner for us! The hotel staff every day took us to the entry of the park and picked us up when finished, we really felt VIP! The hotel is located really close to the park, maybe 5 minutes from South Gate. The hotel breakfast is a must! There is a coffee machine with real coffee beans, which is quite rare in Chinese hotels. The food was prepared fresh for us, and every day we were amazed at how good it was! We even decided after eating dinner in a local restaurant that we prefer to eat dinner at the hotel, which never disappointed us! All in all, the hospitality, the location, the comfortable price, and the amazing food have made our trip unforgettable and we will recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to Zhangjiajie!

It was comfortable, and a delicious restaurant attached… but, for 1000 rmb, my expectations are a bit higher in terms of luxury, activities, and view.

The people who work here are the nicest people in China. Got a night in the rainbow room which they did not charge extra for. Good delicious food and breakfast for both western and Chinese tastes. Great coffee. One of my favorite hotels ever. They pick you up and drop you off at the main road every time you ask…with a smile

We stayed in the couples room and it was even more beautiful than in the pictures. It was our favourite room during our stay in China! Very cosy and we had stunning views through a big glass window on the front wall which we didn't expect. You can even see Zhangjiajie national park from the room!:) Free fruit was a very nice touch. We had dinner at the hotel both nights we stayed there and the food was amazing. They use vegetables from their own garden and they offer a big variety of dishes. We very highly recommend having food at the hotel. They also have a big choice of cold drinks for sale. We bought beers and sat outside admiring beautiful views all around. The hotel is surrounded by nature and we fell asleep listening to frogs, bugs and other sounds, which felt unique and relaxing. There is a beautiful bamboo forrest so make sure to walk around and admire it. The owners of the hotel are very helpful and really care about their customers. They gave us a map of the Zhangjiajie national park and helped us choose a route, which was ideal and it saved us a lot of time as we knew exactly were we needed to go to reach beautiful viewpoints. Lei set up a fire both evenings and we loved sitting by the fire and having a nice conversation. He showed us around the hotel and and made us feel very welcome. He also has a wonderful puppy! The hotel has a variety of Chinese traditional clothing, which you are welcome to try on and take pictures in for free. It was a great experience and the pictures Lei took of us were amazing. We had an incredible time here and we only wish we stayed there longer. We very highly recommend this place and if we are ever back in Zhangjiajie, we will only be staying in Jinshanling Shanju hotel:)
