The environment has an antique charm with a strong traditional Chinese feel. It's right at the entrance of East-West Alley, offering a tranquil escape amidst the bustling area. The dining area provides coffee and tea, and there are even ethnic costumes available to try on, which shows the owner's thoughtfulness. The location is excellent, right at the entrance of East-West Alley, and across from Zhengyang Road Pedestrian Street. There are also small shops to browse within the same complex, and Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas are all within walking distance! Highly recommend.

The hotel room was clean and well-maintained from the moment I walked in. The bed was comfortable with soft linens, perfect for a good night’s rest after a long day. The room had dim lighting, quiet air conditioning, and all basic amenities including hot water, toiletries, and free Wi-Fi that worked smoothly. The space was tidy, with enough storage and a small seating area to relax. The bathroom was modern. The view of river with water flow sound really made me want to stay for more days ... Unfortunately I couldn't due to planned schedule.. Overall, it’s great value for money, comfortable, and I would happily book this room again.

Best breakfast in China! Xiaoming was very helpful with anything we needed and very generous. There are e-scooters to use, which you really need. Guilin traffic is not for the feint heated though and this is certainly not the place to learn to ride an old e-scooter. At first I wondered why I had booked a place so far out of town but in the end, with the scooter it didn't really matter. The room has seen better days and the lack of ventilation means high humidity from the shower mist, meaning sweaty nights, which isn't good. Didn't like the fact the music was left on ALL night below in the breakfast room as you can hear it in the room!

Kicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

Our stay was amazing! The room was spacious, clean and lovely. We had a gorgeous view of mountains from a panoramic window ⛰️ there is everything you need in the room. The food is delicious 🍱 and the breakfast is included! The owner was extremely sweet and helpful! It was our first stay in China and the experience was delightful ❤️ she gave us really good recommendations, helped with any booking we needed and even escorted to the singing cave herself. She literally did everything she could for us ❤️ Also, location is super convenient if you want to go to the singing cave (must see! It’s magical) . It’s about 7 minutes walk! The city centre is 20 minutes away by car 🚘

The room was very clean and had a cozy, natural wood aesthetic. Toiletries were well-stocked, and the shower had great water pressure and a comfortable temperature. After showering, my baby and I snuggled on the sofa to watch TV. When we got sleepy, we just crashed and had a wonderful night's sleep. The bedding was incredibly comfortable too. In the morning, after breakfast with the baby, we went to the rooftop to take photos with the 'Sky Mirror' – it turned out great! There's also a kids' play area, laundry, and a lounge on the first floor. The price was fantastic, and overall, I'm very satisfied.

Me and my wife stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful accomodation. The room was very tidy and has everything you need. We didn't use the bathtub but it is a nice feature. The beds are comfortable and the nights were quiet. It was not high season so I am not sure how it would be if all rooms were booked. Sometimes in the morning we heard some noise from the hallway but it did not bother us. The Inn is located out of the city at the edge of a small town. I really liked it as you can go everywhere very easily with the e-scooters that you can rent with the Inn. Driving around Yangshuo was very convenient, with beautiful scenery everywhere. We also enjoyed the breakfast a lot! They serve a nice light soup with Guilin rice noodles. Also there is more vegetables, dumplings and some cake you can choose from. We also had lunch and dinner multiple times which was all very delicious! Don't skip it! Also they have a nice frontyard where you can enjoy your meals or drinks from the bar. Above all, the staff is incredibly kind and even though there is a language barrier, they put lots of effort in helping us. They helped us booking our activities and providing us with all the information to make sure we would enjoy our stay to the fullest. Xueying helped me practice some Chinese while I helped our with her English. She is extremely kind, so don't hesitate to come and book this accomodation as I am sure you'll have a great stay! This charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons. The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay. All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience.

Close to the station. Amazing English across all 4 staff we spoke to. Breakfast can be preordained at reception. Little bit scary small lift. Great noodle shop next door- good value, tasty, cheap. Recommend get up early and go to see sun and moon pagodas, Toowoomba busy at night. Very happy with stay

We had an amazing time at Longji one art hotel! The place is beautiful, full of original photos and art. Our room had an amazing view and the beds were comfortable. The food was carefully prepared for us and delicious. It was the best food we had during our whole China trip. Our wonderful hosts made us feel so welcome. Like we were friends arriving for a visit. The town of Ping’an is magical and the walks around the mountains were spectacular. If you are going to Ping’an to see the Rice Terraces you should stay at Longji one art hotel. It will be the highlight of your vacation!
