A very stylish Danish hotel. We arrived late at night and it looked quite nice with the lights on. There will be mist in the early morning of winter, which makes it difficult to take pictures. The room we booked has a very high ceiling and is quite comfortable. But the indoor stove didn’t work, and it wasn’t very good because I didn’t know how to use it. The bread for breakfast was from Olsen and it was pretty good.

I chose this youth hostel because it has a kitchen, a great location, and a good price. It's also not far from Chinatown, so I can easily buy Chinese groceries and cook my own meals. The room was decent, but there was some noise from the outdoor air conditioning unit. If you're a light sleeper, you'll definitely need earplugs.

Located on the northern edge of the small town of Carmel on the way to California Highway 1, there are a total of ten rooms in the two-story building. The small courtyard is full of green plants and flowers. The firewood burning in the fireplace at night is swaying, and the small courtyard lights up more romantic. Convenient check-in: Convenient, the lady who checked in at the front desk was very friendly and there was a parking space in the yard. Safe: Safe and quiet. Environment: The town environment is elegant and very beautiful. Hygienic: The room is in good sanitary condition and the bed is very comfortable.

The room is very warm, clean and tidy, with complete facilities, including a microwave, a refrigerator, and the most indispensable kettle for Chinese people, with drinking water provided. It is the most satisfactory accommodation for me during my self-driving trip to the United States. The receptionist at the front desk was very enthusiastic and recommended good restaurants to us. I will stay at this hotel next time I come.

The hotel worked for a quick stay. The location was pretty good which maybe was the best aspect of the hotel. The rooms were a bit on the older side and when I initially walked in the room smelt a bit of cigarette smoke and mould. There was hot water in the bathroom pipe but tepid/luke warm water in the shower. Someone came to look at the shower and they said there was hot water though when I took a shower later in the evening, there was not hot water so that was a challenge. Overall, it's not somewhere I'd stay again but it served it's purpose as I had an extra day in the city and needed to find a place to stay on short notice.

Very expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! It is very like a high-end motel. It is very inconvenient to have no elevator. The stroller needs to be carried upstairs by itself. Passersby can walk directly to the door of your room. It makes people feel insecure and the service attitude is very ordinary.

The inn is located right across from the ocean. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and well appointed, with a microwave, fridge, and complimentary coffee, bottled waters and cookies. The staff was very nice and helpful. We appreciated that there was a binder of local restaurant menus in the lobby. The included breakfast that is delivered to your room, at a time you choose and has several options, was full sized and very good. All in all, our stay at The Sand Pebble Inn in Cambria was lovely!
