"The hotel's location is superb, right inside Daming Lake, and they even deliver takeout to your room. The room itself is lovely, clean, and tidy, and you can sit inside and enjoy the view of the small bridges and flowing water outside. The staff are also incredibly friendly and energetic. Breakfast is a buffet with fruit, salad, and a wide variety of dishes. This will definitely be my top choice for hotels when I visit Jinan again!"

"This is my third time staying at the Guihe InterContinental. The hotel's location is superb, right next to Quancheng Square as soon as you step out. It also has direct access to the Guihe Shopping Mall, which is incredibly convenient for shopping and taking the kids out. A special shout-out to Evan Liu, who patiently helped with all our luggage. His service was meticulous, thoughtful, and he was enthusiastic and polite throughout. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it!"

"The airport shuttle is very convenient, with a direct walkway connecting to the airport. The room was a bit small, and the air conditioning wasn't very effective. Many of the front desk staff seemed to be interns and weren't very efficient at handling requests. The hotel buffet offered good value for money and is worth recommending. The pool was clean and not crowded, making for a comfortable experience."

"The hotel has a predominantly Chinese resort-style vibe, and I'd give top marks for its location, facilities, amenities, and service. Most importantly, the hotel's atmosphere is fantastic. The hotel is just a wall away from the Three Confucius Sites scenic area, but compared to the uninspired tick-the-box sightseeing, a staycation at QuFu JW Marriott completely blows it out of the water. Before coming, I checked some online reviews, and some mentioned the hotel's hardware was subpar. I actually think that's a bit unfair. Firstly, the room's layout is excellent, giving a very well-designed feel. The bathroom features Kohler fixtures, and for a hotel opened in 2019, it even has a Kohler automatic toilet. My only two minor criticisms are that the night light isn't very bright, and the water temperature fluctuates during showers. The hotel's soft furnishings are also very interesting, with many books of ancient Chinese poetry (Shijing) in seal script and bamboo carvings. The decor is very Qufu-esque, incorporating many local elements, which is truly wonderful. Regarding amenities, I tried the hotel's Chinese restaurant and the barbecue restaurant. Both offer great value for money, and the service quality is excellent, with the dishes receiving top marks. At the Chinese restaurant, I recommend the stir-fried shrimp with cabbage, and at the barbecue restaurant, the pork belly skewers. The Chinese restaurant's decor also has a very Confucian feel, and the barbecue restaurant even has a live singer, making the atmosphere truly superb. As for breakfast, guest services actually provided a complimentary one, but they stop serving at 10 AM, and I only woke up at 10:01 AM... This is probably my only minor regret, but it's not a big deal and gives me something to look forward to for my next visit! Here's a small suggestion: for a resort hotel, breakfast should ideally be served until at least 10:30 AM. In terms of guest services, both the concierge and the WeChat butler were excellent, with very prompt responses to requests. I'm very grateful for them making me feel right at home. The welcome fruit delivered in the evening was ginseng fruit, and although there wasn't a huge variety, it was unique and tasted particularly good. Finally, a huge thank you to: the manager of the Chinese restaurant (I actually gave a small suggestion regarding the food presentation, and because of their excellent service attitude, despite a minor issue, they even sent me a fruit platter – truly embodying Qufu hospitality's humble approach), Sun Na and Zhang Xue from housekeeping, and Xiao Yuan and Xiao Gao from guest relations. Thank you all for providing me with such a 'home away from home' experience."

"The first stop of our summer vacation was Zibo, and this was the hotel we stayed at. There was a small hiccup during check-in, but the hotel handled it to our satisfaction. **Location:** The hotel is right next to MixC shopping mall and very close to the famous Eight Major Bureaus. It's also not far from the train station and the Ceramic & Glass Museum, so the location is excellent! **Environment:** The hotel lobby is very spacious, and it's considered one of the top high-end hotels in the area. However, there were a lot of people coming and going, and because the building is quite tall, we had to wait a long time for the elevators every time we went in or out. **Room:** The room wasn't small, and the design was quite practical. The bed was also wide. The bathroom and toilet area were also a good size, but there was no clothesline, so there was nowhere to hang laundry like underwear. **Service:** The front desk service was average; not particularly warm, but no major issues either. **Dining:** We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment much on that. Overall, the hotel's location is definitely a highlight. Regarding the small incident during check-in: initially, we were assigned a connecting room, meaning there was a door between two rooms that could be opened. This design is frankly bizarre. Although they changed our room, it felt like a security risk. I hope the hotel takes this seriously – perhaps these doors could be permanently locked?"

"Huge thanks to Amy and Judy (in no particular order) for their help! This stay at the Sheraton Rizhao truly felt like a home away from home. Any potential issues or last-minute requests were handled, and I'm very grateful! The hotel facilities are quite new, and the rooms are spacious and bright. The Executive Ocean View Suite is absolutely unbeatable! You can enjoy the sunrise effortlessly, and the views are stunning both day and night. The buffet breakfast and the Executive Lounge's afternoon tea and dinner offerings were all very rich and varied. I particularly enjoyed trying the local specialty 'jianbing' and 'haishaizi mian' here – very satisfying. The hotel has a garden at the back, close to the pier and Gate 1 of Wanpingkou. The front entrance is surrounded by numerous bus stops and seafood restaurants, making everything incredibly convenient! I had a wonderful few days here and will definitely be back!"

"This room is exquisitely designed and elegantly furnished. Every table and chair shows meticulous attention to detail, making you feel incredibly comfortable and cozy. It's truly a rare find."

"Facilities: As consistently excellent as expected from a Holiday Inn, especially the lobby and breakfast area which were spotless. There's a dedicated parking lot, but since it's newly opened, there was a slight odor, and the ground was a bit slippery from cleaning, so seniors and children should be careful. Hygiene: Extremely clean. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room type were immaculate, perfectly fulfilling our expectations for a sea-view room (see photo). Environment: It's a short taxi ride to Penglai Pavilion (minimum fare) – convenient since we were traveling with seniors during the scorching dog days of summer. Sanxian Mountain and the Eight Immortals Cross the Sea scenic area are even closer, right next to the hotel. Food delivery was also very fast, and the robot service was quick and satisfactory. Service: The front desk staff were very professional, and breakfast was excellent. The service consistently met Holiday Inn standards – very impressed."

"If Tagore had come here back then, the Shanxi Hotel probably wouldn't have stood a chance. The biggest highlight of my trip to Jinan wasn't Daming Lake or Baotu Spring, but this hotel. It was a completely unexpected and fantastic stay. The service was top-notch, and the elegant Chinese decor was perfect for a solo traveler looking to relax and recharge. The hotel restaurant's food was delicious, and when they weren't too busy, I could even have it delivered to my room, then order a pot of wine and enjoy the serene atmosphere alone. However, some rooms don't have great natural light. The room I initially checked into wasn't very comfortable in terms of layout and lighting, but after I mentioned it to the front desk, they quickly moved me to a satisfactory room. Overall, the stay was excellent. I've saved this place, and if I ever come to Jinan again, I'll definitely be back here."

"The service was incredibly thoughtful. Even though we arrived during a typhoon, it didn't seem to have a major impact on Linyi, and our travel plans weren't disrupted at all. The environment is very quiet, right by the river in the city center. The staff even provided us with a travel guide. Overall, our stay was very comfortable, and the facilities were quite comprehensive – everything you'd typically need was provided, including a safe, a weighing scale, and even a yoga mat. The hygiene was also excellent, which put us at ease. Whatever we needed, the room attendant brought it quickly without any hesitation. I would definitely recommend this place to friends."
