[Best hotel for travel and business use] Located in front of Imari Station (about 1 minute walk from JR side), it is convenient for travel and business use anyway. In addition, there are many thankful elements such as hot spring facilities, free of charge for guests, and free drinks and breakfast after check-in.

Tiny room with an old and very small Queensize (??) bed. Everything seems to be really old, so does the dust in the corners of the room or of the ventilation in the bathroom. Service was okay... we could convince them to leave our bicycles outside the hotel entrance (no way to leave them at the ”luggage storage” inside the lobby). Drinks like coffee, hot chocolate, tea and soft drinks are for free. Microwave free. Also they have a bath house but no sauna for the girls - unfortunately. Best option in town.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, especially if your budget allows for it! The room windows offer direct views of the moat, and the hotel is incredibly close to attractions like the hot air balloon festival grounds and shrines. **Transportation:** From Saga Station, you can take the Showa Bus (towards Karatsu) directly to the hotel. Alternatively, the most convenient option is to simply take a taxi. **Service:** I absolutely have to commend the hotel's front desk staff! They were an enormous help! Due to heavy rains in the Kyushu region, I found myself stranded in Saga and had difficulty getting around. I wanted to arrange for my luggage to be sent directly to my next hotel in Fukuoka. A lady wearing glasses at the front desk was exceptionally helpful in assisting me with filling out the Takkyubin (luggage delivery service) forms. Even though the courier company ultimately couldn't guarantee delivery to my next hotel before my departure due to the heavy rain, the hotel staff's assistance was invaluable and greatly appreciated! **Dining:** When it's too hot in summer, taking a break at the hotel's first-floor cafe, sipping coffee and enjoying the views, is a fantastic way to relax. (The Baumkuchen is delicious!)

I originally planned a trip to Fukuoka but came to Saga for the Saga beef. I booked the convenient Comfort Hotel Saga. The room was really small, and they didn't provide drinking water. On the first floor, they only offered basic cotton swabs and toothbrushes, so I was glad I brought my own cotton pads and shower cap. Check-in and check-out at the hotel were self-service. The hotel's location is indeed excellent; it's within walking distance to Saga Castle and the Balloon Museum. It's also right next to Saga JR Station, and you can take a bus to the famous YouMe Town in Saga. The bus stops are well-connected and right by the JR station, making it very convenient. However, at over 700 [currency unit] per night, the value for money isn't great when it's not peak season. If you prioritize convenient transportation, this place could be a good choice.

On my recent 8-day solo trip to Japan, among all the hotels I booked, yours was the most expensive and the one I had the highest hopes for. However, my actual stay was incredibly disappointing. This significant letdown compels me to provide serious feedback — your hotel utterly betrayed my trust. Two weeks before my trip, I booked a sea view room at your hotel via the Trip.com app and specifically requested a high-floor sea view room in the booking notes. My primary goal was to ensure a superior sea view experience during my stay. I later found out that your hotel's guest rooms are located on floors 4-9. However, upon check-in, the front desk directly assigned me the lowest available room on the 4th floor. This completely contradicted my primary request when booking and significantly diminished the value of a 'sea view room'. Upon realizing the issue, I immediately contacted the front desk, hoping to be moved to a higher floor, even just a few floors up to improve the sea view. However, I was informed that 'an additional fee would be required to switch to a higher floor.' This left me particularly incensed: 1. If your hotel has a tiered pricing structure for sea view rooms based on floor level, this policy should be clearly stated on the booking page, including the 'total range of guest room floors' and the 'floor range included in the corresponding price,' rather than concealing crucial information and misleading consumers. To demand extra payment only after check-in clearly demonstrates a lack of integrity. 2. I booked two weeks in advance and specifically noted my high-floor preference; this was not a last-minute, unreasonable request. Even if an adjustment wasn't possible due to full occupancy, a reasonable explanation should have been provided. However, the front desk offered no further explanation, simply presenting 'paying extra' as the only solution. This dismissive and profit-driven service attitude starkly contradicts your hotel's premium pricing and positioning and undermines guests' trust. Your hotel projects an image of 'quality service' through its high pricing, yet in reality, it conceals information and implicitly demands extra payment. This is completely unacceptable to me. I strongly urge your hotel to address the following issues: 1. Disclose your floor-based pricing rules to provide a transparent booking environment for consumers. 2. Issue a formal apology to me for this service failure and optimize your front desk service procedures to prevent future guests from experiencing similar issues.

This was a truly beautiful and wonderful hotel. The moment I entered the lobby, I was immediately struck by the breathtaking view. The harmony between the ocean view and the pristine white hotel was truly impressive. Every single item was precious and luxurious. There was an indoor heated pool for the kids, and an outdoor hot spring pool for the adults. Surrounded by distant mountains, the swimming pool and the ocean seemed to be connected... It was fantastic. The food was top-notch, and everything was top-notch. I highly recommend it.

Just a 2-minute walk from JR station, located right on the shopping street with plenty of great food and shops nearby. The room was clean, and the service was warm and welcoming. They even have shared laundry machines, a dryer, microwave, and a fridge, which was a very thoughtful touch. Breakfast was simple, just milk and bread, but it tasted good. It would be even better if there were more options.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right across from the South Exit of JR Takeo-Onsen Station! Check-in is after 3 PM, and the staff are very welcoming. There's a main building and an annex, and you use your room key card to access your room. At the front desk, you can find free toothbrushes, coffee, bath towels, and wooden combs. It's a shame they don't offer small packets of skincare products. Also, drinking water isn't provided in the room! There isn't a convenience store right outside the hotel, but there's a small supermarket inside the JR station. Breakfast is a simple buffet with both Japanese and Western options; the milk is delicious! The annex on the 8th floor has a public bath and a laundry room, and the rooms are quite spacious. You can borrow bicycles from the front desk to get around. Overall, it's a great stay!

The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to Saga JR Station, which you can arrange by contacting them directly. The rooms are significantly larger than typical hotel rooms and offer beautiful views. The hot spring baths, both indoor and outdoor, are comfortably warm, allowing for long, relaxing soaks in a clean and pleasant environment. The only downside was that the dinner provided wasn't quite to my Chinese palate.

SSealionMy stay at Ureshino Onsen Yoshidaya Uchiroji Hondori (also known as Yadoya Uchiroji Hondori) was a tale of two extremes in the charming hot spring town of Ureshino, Saga Prefecture. The hotel was modern Japanese-style with smart check-in system. The twin room was spacious, impeccably clean, and exude serene comfort, making it a perfect retreat. The private onsen facilities truly shine— It was a free slot with 40 mins, which could be booked once via QR Code at the room. Ureshino's famous sodium-rich hot springs, renowned as one of Japan's top three for beautifying the skin, deliver silky-smooth water that leaves you feeling rejuvenated. However, the meal plan was a major letdown. I sent an email to the hotel to confirm my booking and stated I did not eat beef before. The customer service replied I had to pay extra per person in order to change the meat option. For over JPY 38,000 per night including breakfast and dinner, we anticipated premium kaiseki cuisine or traditional served Japanese dinner set. Instead, only a bento box with cold salad and an underwhelming beef and egg pie that felt mismatched for the price. Tragically, my husband experienced vomiting shortly after, likely food-related, which overshadowed our trip. And the breakfast was also disappointing, which was only cold sandwiches with a cup of tea or milk. Thus, I strongly recommend the hotel clearly states the exact contents of dinner and breakfast plans on booking sites—including detailed menus or photos—and offers flexible options, such as plan changes or alternatives, if guests fall ill from the food. This transparency and adaptability would greatly enhance the experience and prevent frustration.

GGuest UserIf you have something to do in the area, you can book at a good price and have no expectations. After arriving, I found that although the room is a container house, no matter the appearance of the room, the room is very new and clean. Check-in was in the middle of summer in Japan, and the daytime temperature was as high as 37 degrees. And the new air-conditioning in the room is very cold enough, it is worthy of praise! The front desk also provides a map of nearby restaurants, and the service is intimate!

GGuest UserI'm very satisfied with the hotel. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the public bath was also great. For the private onsen, I recommend the Keifutang (seasonal wind bath), especially for families with two or more people. The Sakuramiyu private onsen seems to be more for single use, and if you're staying in a villa, you probably don't need to bother with it. Overall, both the regular rooms and villas have the beds located on the second floor, so you'll need to use stairs to access them. In the villas, the bathroom is only on the first floor, which might be a bit inconvenient.

YYouxia68The hotel is super convenient, right next to Ureshino JR Station, just a one-minute walk from the exit. It's about a 20-minute walk to the onsen town, but there's a bus right outside that goes directly there. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to the onsen town, but the timings aren't ideal. Since the town is close to the bus terminal, it would be much more convenient for guests if there were shuttle timings that aligned with bus arrivals. This would also greatly benefit guests planning day trips to other onsen. Hopefully, the hotel can adjust this based on actual needs to improve the experience. However, the rooms are clean and very comfortable, so I'd still recommend it.

GGuest UserThe female dorm has a security entrance, so I felt safe staying here. There is a shopping area just behind the hotel, and lots of eateries available. The Kumamoto castle is also within walking distance. The washroom's cleanliness and amenities are tip top. There are no complaints. There is also a washing machine and dryer which is convenient if you need to do some laundry during your travels. There is also a female bath but I didn't have time so I have no comments on that. There was also a rest area for dining which is good for people who wants to eat take-away or convenience store foods. There is a hot water provider and microwave, but there was no drinking water supply. (I guess you'll need to buy bottled water, which in this case, there are several vending machines within the premise)

EEvon Foo.We chose to stay here because hotels in Fukuoka were very expensive, and since we had the JR Pass, this location right beside the Tosu station was super convenient. The room was very clean, and the facilities were great — especially the included breakfast! It was a wonderful chance to try local Japanese dishes, and I really enjoyed it. The breakfast starts as early as 6:30am, which was very thoughtful — I still remember rushing to catch the 6:50am train to Fukuoka after eating, and I even had 5 minutes to spare, haha! Staff were friendly and helpful, though English communication was a bit more limited — probably because it’s not a major station area. Still, everyone had a great attitude and tried their best. Overall, a very satisfying stay!

LLebalemaA great hotel with only 16 rooms. We booked 2 rooms, one with an outdoor hot spring facing the sea, and one with a bathtub. We booked a one-night stay with two nights. Dinner included large shrimps with bamboo crabs, especially the crab roe rice, which was very special. The hotel facilities are also good, the rooms are large, and there are rest areas. The only drawback is the transportation, there is no public transportation. We drove by ourselves, and the hotel could also pick us up at the nearest station on the same day.
