It is a bit surprising and disappointing that there is no coin laundry (laundry) facility in the hotel. It is the newest building in the area, so the facilities are clean and good. As shown in the attached photo, the hotel is on the 6th floor. As expected from a hot spring village, the large bath is said to be 100% heated, non-salted water. The water is good. Even just taking a bath costs 1,500 yen, but I used it for 70,000 won per night for 2 nights and 3 days from Monday to Tuesday, so I am satisfied. I do not recommend breakfast, but they also provide the famous dish Kawarasoba for dinner, so I recommend it if you want to eat it once. The cost is 4,950 yen. Check-in is at 4 p.m., but unlike other hotels, they are not very flexible, and if there is a vacancy, they will help you check in from 3 p.m. This is the best advantage. There is a Lawson convenience store right in front, and next to it is a tourist information center, foot bath, and potable hot water, so it is the best location. If you walk about 15 minutes towards Yamaguchi, you will find NHK and the central park is pleasant and nice.

Rooms were clean, check in was easy, breakfast was satisfactory. The info related to parking in the reviews is incorrect. The hotel does not have its own parking and you need to use pay parking close by the hotel. There are several options at different price levels, and the hotel recommends which one to use upon check-in but be advised that the parking lots begin to fill up as the day gets later so the later you arrive, the more you pay for parking, and hopefully all does not fill up. Overall, I would go back if I the area, it was a great price / value.

Unbeatable location with many rooms ( or all rooms) and public spaces facing Tsunoshima Bridge. Our room faced the ocean directly with no obstruction. The bath was also quite decent and the outdoor bath is next to the sea. You can enjoy the sound of the waves while bathing in the hot spa. It should be quite spectacular during sunset. The spa was probably renovated within the last 10 years as it was in good condition. The room , however, felt old and the corridor was damp. The carpet in the room felt damp and the room felt stuffy. The AC worked well and we turned it on high. Our triple room as spacious but I felt itchy the whole night while sleeping- although the sheets looked clean ( I slept on the added bed). The other two beds looked slumped in the middle. Bathroom also looked quite old( from the 70’s)? My room was at the far end wing and there were lots of stairs to walk up and down from the front desk which was on the third floor. The staff will help to bring the luggages to your room ( also at check out - just call). Hotel restaurant serves dinner buffet . If you are not interested, the hotel also has a list of restaurants nearby with 10-30 minutes drive. We drove out to have yakitori in a small down, which was very local, but with friendly owner, good food- and super cheap price ( each yakitori was about ¥120-150 yen. Breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western offers, taste was average. Overall service was very good.

The hotel parking space, is outsourced to park in another place, we arrived at 3:30 pm, saw a parking space but the staff said there was someone parked, just out! But the outsourced parking space has a time limit, not self-in, in addition to the time clock, if there is an option, the hotel's own parking lot is much more convenient! Every time there is no parking space, but the hotel hot spring is on the 10th floor, you can see the sea view, is my most reminiscent! Guests are not crowded, very comfortable, everyone can enjoy quietly!

Although the hotel is in a remote location, it seems that all the rooms are facing the seaside. In addition, the rooms have large glass windows, so you can easily see the sea view. The hotel staff are friendly and provide free ramen in the evening, which tastes pretty good. There are also hot spring facilities. Recommended to go.

JR car walk to the hotel is only 10~15 minutes, so easy to find. The main entrance is facing the traffic light. It has a 300-year history, so traditional style. In the lobby, you must change indoor slippers first, and when you go out, the waiter will immediately take out the guests' shoes to replace you. The whole building has been appreciated. Value, there is an orthodox Japanese garden, there are a lot of koi fish in the pool, and you can see the maple leaves. We can enjoy the garden on the terrace of our room. The bathroom in the room has a wooden bathtub. Dinner and breakfast are eaten in the room ... Our housekeeper is very professional, Also introduced a variety of food ... and free beer, Coke is provided. There is electric heating in the central location of the room, thick quilt and heating ... But leaving this fan will be very cold ... This is the old building. At that time, the technology was not so advanced. The hot spring pool is not big, but there are two in the wind. Good ~ so comfortable. Sooner or later, the soup for men and women is changed. The hotel crosses the road and goes straight to have a ”fox footprint” worth recommending

The hotel's interior and all the rooms were stylish and spacious, making me feel cheerful even while inside the building. The ocean river view from my room was also amazing. I woke up in the morning and enjoyed the cool breeze in the sauna on the top floor while looking out at the city. At night, there was a foot bath near the river, so I soaked my feet while listening to the sound of the river and gazing at the starry sky. I felt so refreshed! Thank you very much.

Experience to do. Very close to the airport but out of the way for restaurants and clubs in general. The staff at the reception is very polite and helps you with everything. Upon arrival in addition to the toiletries you have the possibility of choosing trays of frozen food. The room including the bathroom is very small but has everything you need and is fine for one night. The linen as well as the cleanliness is excellent. Excellent solution for being close to the airport.

I heard good things from a colleague who stayed at another R9 branch, so I chose this hotel for my business trip to Ube. Being able to park right in front of my room was incredibly convenient for unloading luggage and heading out for work. Since it's a container hotel, each room is separate from the next, so I didn't have to worry about noise from neighboring rooms and it was very comfortable. The room was also spotlessly clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Plus, the complimentary snacks were delicious and a real lifesaver! This R9 Ube location is fantastic for its convenience; within a 10-minute drive, you can reach convenience stores, supermarkets, general stores, drugstores, and various restaurants. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Ube.

The room is functional and the Japanese breakfast and dinner are excellent. The hot spring has multiple special pools, but the hot spring water is not hot enough. It would be better if there is a vending machine selling frozen milk outside the hot spring door.
