Three days, two nights, and every day brought a new kind of 'excitement.' Day one, the air conditioning didn't work, there were tons of mosquitoes, and the shower only had cold water. The only decent thing for dinner was the fried shrimp, which disappeared in seconds, and the few other dishes available were practically snatched away. It felt like a refugee experience. Day two, we got a different room. After swimming, I went back to shower, and there was no water, then cold water, then extremely hot water, constantly cycling. The water pressure was also incredibly low; I almost lost my mind trying to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. That night, it was very windy, and there was a lot of noise outside, as if something wasn't properly secured. On the third day, as we were checking out, our luggage was mistakenly taken by a staff member and given to other guests. It was only returned after the other guests realized the error. Our luggage was perfectly fine in the restaurant; how dare you just take it away? Do you have any basic management sense? Of course, the environment is nice, that's the only highlight. Given how expensive it was during Chinese New Year, you should provide a service level that matches the price. The buffet was cafeteria-standard, and we still had to fight for food. Are you not ashamed?

I stayed in Room 3121 (superior king). Cons - The room door can sometimes be difficult to open. You need to tap the key card, turn the handle, and push the door slightly harder than usual. The same issue occasionally occurs when opening the door from inside. - The hotel's WiFi signal does not reach the room. - An iron is not provided in the room. - The room door is only moderately soundproof (around 60%), so noise from outside can still be heard. - A laundry bag is not provided. Pros - The room rate is very affordable and reasonable for the condition and facilities offered by the hotel. - The room is very spacious and comfortable. - Five clothes hangers are provided. - A hair dryer is available. - Basic toiletries provided include shampoo, body wash, and a shower cap. - The TV offers five channels. - Two complimentary bottles of drinking water are provided. - A kettle, two sets of coffee and tea, along with sugar and creamer, are available. - Two mugs and spoons are provided. - The air conditioning works well and keeps the room very cool. - Basement parking is available. Access is through the side of the Tang Dynasty Hotel lobby. The parking system is cashless and uses number plate recognition. Inform the TD Plaza Hotel lobby staff of your vehicle registration number, and they will register it. Each exit is charged at a special rate of RM2 when you tap your bank card. - The hotel's location is excellent. Imago Shopping Mall is within walking distance (10min +-) - Nearby amenities include Bataras Supermarket, Orange Market, KFC, Papa's, and Golden Fish. - There is also a night market beside the building. - For seafood lovers, Anjung Senja is located behind Wawasan Plaza. - Beautiful sunset views can be enjoyed from the Anjung Senja area all the way to the back of Marriott Hotel. - For those who enjoy brisk walking, jogging, or running, there is a dedicated pedestrian and cycling path stretching from Anjung Senja towards the Tanjung Aru junction. Maklumkan nombor plat kepada staf lobi TD Plaza Hotel dan mereka akan mendaftarkannya. Setiap kali keluar, hanya perlu tap kad bank dan kadar parkir adalah RM2 bagi setiap kemasukan. - Lokasi hotel sangat strategik. Imago Shopping Mall boleh dikunjungi dengan berjalan kaki dalam 10minit - Berdekatan dengan Bataras Supermarket, Orange Market, KFC, Papa's dan Golden Fish. - Terdapat pasar malam di tepi bangunan. - Bagi pencinta makanan laut, Anjung Senja terletak di belakang bangunan Wawasan Plaza. - Pemandangan matahari terbenam (sunset) yang cantik boleh dinikmati sekitar kawasan Anjung Senja hingga belakang Marriott Hotel. - Bagi yang gemar brisk walk, berjoging atau berlari, terdapat laluan khas pejalan kaki dan berbasikal dari kawasan Anjung Senja hingga ke persimpangan Tanjung Aru.

Overall, the hotel is good, especially because of its convenient location near a shopping mall, making it easy to purchase daily necessities and other items. The breakfast café is spacious and offers a wide variety of food choices. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. While the breakfast selection is extensive, the taste of the food was somewhat disappointing and could be enhanced. In addition, the cleanliness of the room needs more attention. The floor felt dusty, as if it had not been properly swept or vacuumed. Guests who are not comfortable wearing the hotel slippers may notice the dust more easily. With improvements to room cleanliness and food quality, the overall guest experience would be much better.

Extremely satisfied! The lovely lady at the front desk upgraded our room, and her service was fantastic – she even spoke Chinese and answered all our questions. Every time we took a taxi in, they'd check our booking information, which made us feel very safe. The breakfast buffet was also very rich and diverse, and the kids had a great time. The lifeguard at the pool was also very responsible, which gave us peace of mind. The sunset was also beautiful, with few people around, so it wasn't crowded. Highly recommend!

The water in the hotel's area is heavily polluted; it's so dirty that snorkeling is completely out of the question! The front desk staff were very perfunctory with guest requests and didn't follow through on promises. In the morning, we requested a private boat tour for island hopping and snorkeling. We discussed the time and itinerary with the dive center staff and finalized the price with the front desk. We even altered our subsequent travel plans for this. However, by 4 PM, we still hadn't received confirmation. When we called the front desk, they told us they couldn't arrange it. We asked several people, and got different explanations: first they said there were no boats, then that other guests had already been arranged for island hopping, and then that there would be a storm the next day (which turned out to be perfectly calm). I suggest the hotel improve its island hopping service. For those looking to dive, definitely don't consider this hotel! Also, the beach is incredibly tiny, barely palm-sized!

It was my first time coming here, and the experience was unexpectedly wonderful. I really loved the sunset view—it was so beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were good and suited us well. However, it would be great if the breakfast tables could be cleaned more thoroughly. Overall, it’s a very nice place to relax, chill, and heal.

The staff friendliness is just amzing 10/10. Excellent Service.Our room had amazing view of the sea and opposite resort called Gayana. Dinner: Only Buffet option is available and its about RM167/person +taxes. The spread are fairly good and it is delicious. Though they do have 2 more different Restaurant in the island,Japanese and fine dining. Breakfast: Included in the room price. Menu changes daily. I have nothing to complaint about the room,for us its comfortable.All rooms have exactly the dane Designs the only difference is where it is located. You are paying for the view. Activities: For me I think 3 days 2 nights are perfect to spend your time here, swimming by the pool,kayaking,snorkling,Jungle trekking, visiting the private beach. 1 hour complimentary use of snorklinh masks. I like the public guests showers and towel provided.Very convinient. One thing that I would like to comment is the boat fees are relatively very expansive.15 mins speedboat per person one way cost about Rm80+taxes..Just return trip cost RM170++ per person. This is not even including island conservation fees and tourist fees. All this added fees makes the Hotel cost more expansive. Because a boat trip to nearby or same Island cost only Rm40. GAYANA ECO RESORT provided inclusive/complimentary return boat fees. I hope the Management can improve this because we as Guests are going to spend more money on F&B and at the Bar. Last but not least I would like to compliment the service and staffs in thsi Resort I think they did such an amazing job. Overalö the Resort is beautiful andclose to the nature.

Our room was on the second floor (with a ground floor entrance), and the king room was about 3-5 square meters smaller than the twin room. The style is similar to hotels in China that are 30-40 years old, but the location is excellent. Pros: They offer free luggage storage for guests; it's right opposite Suria mall and behind Gaya Street, so you'll have no trouble finding food and shopping; the concierge was very friendly, opening doors and greeting us proactively; the in-room hardware was well-maintained and clean, with no strange odors, and the bedding was clean with a fresh laundry scent! Cons: The soundproofing needs improvement. We could hear sports cars and motorcycles passing by, generating 20-40 decibels of noise about every ten minutes. We only got proper sleep late at night when traffic died down. The shower facilities are also quite old; the glass door didn't effectively prevent water from spilling out of the shower area, and the showerhead holder made it difficult to adjust the angle of the showerhead. Overall: Clean! Convenient! Great value for money! If you're very sensitive to noise, either bring earplugs or request a room on the opposite side, closer to the main entrance and facing the smaller road, instead of one facing the main road and Suria.

The environment is absolutely beautiful, and it offers much better value for money compared to other overwater bungalows. You can enjoy kayaking with a transparent bottom boat, seeing lots of starfish and small fish – it's really pleasant. There are also Bajau people who come by to sell fresh seafood. It would be perfect if they added a water slide! 😍

Without any incentives, I'll honestly share my experience. 1. **Pros:** The water quality around Mantanani Island is excellent, and the snorkeling and diving offer stunning views. The staff are friendly, and the island scenery is definitely worth experiencing. 2. **Cons:** The island is swarming with tour groups, and there's a constant stream of elderly people and children, so it's not ideal if you're looking for a peaceful atmosphere. We stayed for three nights, paying over 4,000, and were assigned room 27, which was right next to the staff dormitory. The facilities in the room were very old. Additionally, the adjacent room housed different tour guides every day, and we couldn't see the sea at all from our room. For independent travelers paying this price, getting a room like this is truly unsatisfactory.
