In the winter, there is some gloomy Lugano. On this day, we will light up the life with food and wine! I followed the chef to learn the Swiss local cuisine of Risotto. Risotto is a bit of stewed rice. The outer soft and hard-cooked rice is cooked under the white wine and vegetable broth. Rice, cooked under the stew of white wine and vegetable broth, mixed with butter, cheese powder, mushrooms, and salt. Stir constantly so that the rice is heated evenly and fully absorb the soup until the best taste is achieved. It feels like this meal is still very good. In line with the appetite of the Chinese, and in this restaurant, while learning to cook local cuisine, while blending into the lively scene of local gatherings, it is very local. It is said that this experience can be held in the lake in the summer, while enjoying the beautiful scenery while enjoying the fine food, it is so enjoyable!
Lugano (Lauis) was built in the 6th century and is the largest city in Ticino, Switzerland. It is also a lakeside park bordering Italy on the south side of Switzerland. A major town in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, with a population of more than 30,000, mainly believes in Roman Catholicism.
Lugano has a pleasant environment and climate, even in winter, full of warm sunshine. Surrounded by the embrace of the mountains and the flowers and grasses, this is a city that radiates this light and vitality on the shores of Lake Lugano. Due to the ban on the car traffic environment, it is exceptionally clean and tidy. Lugano's speciality is that the shopping facilities are complete and the environment is beautiful. Jewelry shop watches and clocks abound.

A place of beauty and serenity
#celebratewithtrip
Lugano is in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland, in the gorgeous canton of Ticino.
Our experience in Lugano was walking along the waterfront into the Old Town. The views were spectacular. The Old Town of Lugano is a very intimate part of the city. There are lovely shops, restaurants and places to stay. We also visited the cathedral, which is directly across from the train station, is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out! We then explored the Lake Lugano, which is the ultimate highlight and the main attraction in Lugano. Who can resist swooning at lake views like this? Even if you never even go on the water, just looking at this gorgeous lake is better than therapy! The view here is spectacular!
The lake is surrounded by mountains perched with houses and interesting boundary of Italy and Switzerland. If you’re wondering what to see in Lugano in one day, then the lake is an absolute must. We might not spent that much time in Lugano, but I believe that there's more to see in this beautiful place. Best believe, I'm gonna come back here again in the future.

Castles of Bellinzona Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
The majestic Alps as a backdrop.
Embarking on a journey to the Castles of Bellinzona, I found myself immersed in a world of rich history and breathtaking beauty. As a UNESCO World Heritage site since November 30th, 2000, the castles stood proudly, exuding an aura of prestige and antiquity. Each castle, meticulously preserved, offered a glimpse into Switzerland's storied past, with commanding views of the majestic Alps as a backdrop.
The allure of these medieval fortifications was undeniable, drawing me deeper into their storied halls and towering ramparts. From every angle, the castles presented a picturesque scene, capturing the imagination and leaving an indelible mark on my memory. Without a doubt, a visit to the Castles of Bellinzona is a must for anyone seeking to explore the essence of Swiss history and architecture.

Bellinzona's Grand Castle: Timeless Majesty
#fallishere
The Castles of Bellinzona, located in the Swiss town of Bellinzona, consist of three medieval fortifications: Castel Grande, Montebello, and Sasso Corbaro. Castel Grande, the oldest and most significant, dates back to the 13th century. Initially built by the Dukes of Milan, it played a crucial role in controlling the strategic Gotthard Pass. Over the centuries, ownership of the castles shifted between various powers, including the Swiss Confederation. Castel Grande underwent expansions and modifications, and its imposing walls and towers showcase a blend of architectural styles. In 2000, UNESCO designated the Bellinzona Castles as a World Heritage Site, recognizing their historical importance and well-preserved medieval architecture. Castel Grande, with its commanding presence, serves as a testament to the region's rich history and strategic significance in the medieval period.
Castel Grande Castle had its rudimentary shape in BC, expanding in the 13th century when the road to the Gotthard Ridge was opened and the 15th century when the Como and Milan wars intensified. In European history, it has been highly regarded as an important military fortress.
The whole castle is not big, the castle used for military is not as gorgeous as other castles. Come to the tower to the observation deck, overlooking the entire Bellinzona, as well as overlooking the Fort and the Upper Fort. The blue sky, white clouds and green trees are red houses, and the scenery is beautiful.
Old Town Lugano Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Mystic Forest Lugano
Lugano is a small lakeside town in Switzerland, where green health and slow life are the theme. The town does not allow motor vehicles, and the air is pure.
Yellow, pink, blue, red and other colored houses are built on the mountain, like irregular colorful building blocks, hidden in the green mountains and vineyards, giving a sense of harmony, depicting Lugano's back mountain into a bright and layered Mediterranean style painting. The best houses are of course built in the 'mountain and lake' place, build a villa, dig a swimming pool, back to the mountain, facing the lake. Not far away, Lugano's two most symbolic buildings, the St. Lorenzo Catholic Church and the St. Maria Cathedral, are also included in the view.
The unforgettable paradise - Lugano
Located in the Italian-speaking region of southern Switzerland, the small town of Lugano is situated at the foot of the southern Alps, with a pleasant environment and climate. Even in winter, it is full of warm sunshine, making it the place with the most sunshine throughout the year in Switzerland.
In the embrace of towering mountains, the water of Lake Lugano is clear and bright. Swans lazily sunbathe by the lake during the day. It's close to Christmas, and you can see the snow on Mount San Salvador, but there are still flowers blooming by the lake.
We have free activities in the old town of Lugano, enjoying leisure time. We saw the Christmas market and the 'train to 2024'.
In the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, which was founded in 1499, I saw a replica of Da Vinci's 'The Last Supper' mural (Figure 4/The original is now housed in the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, Italy).
There is also a Church of San Carlo (San Carlo) built in 1640 (Figures 9, 10).
The paradise Lugano is unforgettable.
Lake and mountain scenery in Lugano.
The town of Lugano in the Italian-speaking region of southern Switzerland is located at the southern foot of the Alps. It is the place with the most sunshine in Switzerland throughout the year. Palm trees can be seen everywhere, forming a sharp contrast with the cold Lucerne and Geneva. It is a popular winter holiday destination for Swiss people.
