Today's itinerary started with a visit to Sanbao Village in the morning, a village very suitable for a morning visit. It's very leisurely and you can take your time to explore. If you take a taxi, it's recommended to get off at the village entrance and then rent one of the small electric scooters. The rental there is 30 yuan for eight hours, and even if you use it for less than eight hours, it's still 30 yuan. So getting off at the village entrance and renting one saves taxi fare and gives you more time to ride the scooter. Riding the scooter is definitely more enjoyable than walking. The "Air Cylinder" and "Lying Win Bottle" are popular spots where people queue to check in, but personally, I think just taking a photo of the bottle is enough to show you've been there, haha. Sanbao Village is enough to explore for the whole morning. For lunch, we went to Ouji Food Stall, and the dishes were pretty good. The spiciness level was acceptable for Hubei people if you don't choose the very spicy options. In the afternoon, we originally planned to visit the Imperial Kiln Museum at Taoyangli. The Didi driver said it was free, but this museum is connected to Taoyangli, which charges an entrance fee. So visiting the museum currently means paying the fee for Taoyangli as well. Due to time constraints and having to take the kids to do pottery making, we gave up on this attraction. I recommend a pottery fragment assembling shop, though I forgot the name; I will post it in the comments later.
