Magnificent Views in Warm Water

I am sad to see so many negative reviews, yes, it's a bit commercialised unlike what you would find in Iceland for instance, it is a theme/water park but you only have to leave the slides literally behind you and head towards the lake ridge for stunning views. It's 300,000 per person which I make out at current rate as about £17.00 per person. When you think of Centre Parcs in England or any other water park, it's the same but it's natural water with a breathtaking view. We ignored the slides and just enjoyed a very cool (in temperature) rainy day in Butter's warm waters. I had a drink afterwards when we were changed and paid in cash so I could get my deposit back. Give the guys a break, it's designed as a family day out, look at the view, not at the plastic. My six-year-old son was happily entertained all day and he can't even swim! We had travelled down from remote Kubutambahan and a little bit of 'touristy' didn't bother us at all. I suggest staying off the beaten track so you're not dismayed at further tourism.
