🕒 Time: February 6th - February 10th (6th - 8th 8:30-24:00, 9th - 10th until 2:00 in the morning) 📍 Location: Beijing Road Pedestrian Street Area Because I was worried about the crowd, I arrived at the flower market at nine in the morning, and some stalls hadn't even been set up yet. However, I was able to see two lion dances and calligraphers writing spring couplets, which made my early trip worthwhile. The biggest surprise was seeing Teacher Huang Junying! This year's Xihu Flower Market doesn't seem to have as many people as the same time last year, but compared to last year's rush, this year's flower market is more complete in all aspects, and you can come to feel the atmosphere even if you don't buy anything! 🗺️ Route: Subway Gongyuanqian D exit ➡️ Longmen Archway ➡️ Dafosi Front Stalls ➡️ Xihu Road Stalls ➡️ Shufang Street Front Stalls ➡️ Beijing Road Subway Station Front Stalls 📝 Check-in Guide: 📷 There are several dragon-shaped installations in the flower market for everyone to check in! I found 4 places - ▶️ Gongyuanqian Subway Station D Exit I personally think this one is the best looking! ▶️ In front of Dafosi This dragon can be photographed with the 'Gongbei Building' installation behind it, but it may be difficult to find the angle because it's too thin. If you want to take a photo with it, it's better to stand on its side. ▶️ Beijing Road Copper Pot Drip This dragon is very exquisite but it's surrounded by iron horses, so it's not so good for taking pictures. ▶️ Xihu Road Entrance and Exit There are two cartoon dragons, I personally think they are average 🛍️ Tips: 🌺 Last year's experience of visiting the flower market was that the stalls in more remote locations were relatively cheaper, but this time I found that some stalls in 'advantageous' locations also have cheap flowers. It is recommended to walk around more and ask more before buying. 🌺 Some stalls have discounts for card payments! You can pay more attention to whether the stalls have corresponding promotional signs. 🌺 If you have social anxiety and are not very good at shopping, you can follow the local aunties at the scene to buy flowers. You can always trust the taste of Guangzhou aunties. 🧧 The stalls for spring couplets are mainly concentrated in front of Shufang Street. 🪭 This year there are also some special stalls, such as the cultural and creative stalls of the Museum of the Nanyue King, which are quite cute!
