Daocheng Yading's autumn is God's overturned palette!

Yading in late autumn is a palette painted by God. From a distance at Holy Water Lake, Mount Yangmaiyong stands majestically amidst the vibrant autumn colors. We walk slowly along the wooden boardwalk through the golden meadows, with the gurgling stream as our only companion. The pyramid-shaped snow peaks shimmer under the clear autumn sky, forming a breathtaking picture with the golden mountain forests. All the hardships of hiking are healed the moment you gaze upon the sacred mountains. This autumn-exclusive wonder is worth traveling across mountains and seas to experience. 🗺️Route Breakdown and Hiking Time👣 This route can be divided into three sections: First Section: Zaguangbeng, Chonggu Meadow & Chonggu Temple Distance: Approximately 500 meters, relatively short. Terrain: Gentle uphill path. Highlights: This is the starting point for high-altitude hiking, where you can gaze up at Mount Xiannairi and visit Chonggu Temple. Time: Walking slowly takes about 15-30 minutes. Second Section: Chonggu Meadow➡️ (along Holy Water Gate boardwalk), Luorong Pasture Distance: Approximately 6-7 kilometers. Terrain: The entire path is a flat, wide electric cart boardwalk, with almost no elevation gain, very easy to walk. You can choose to Hike: This is the best way to enjoy the scenery of the river valley, forests, and snow-capped mountains. Take an electric cart: Save energy and time. Highlights: This valley trail is one of the essences of Daocheng Yading, with gurgling streams, colorful autumn forests, and distant snow-capped mountains accompanying you. Time: If hiking the entire section, taking photos along the way, it takes 1.5-2 hours. Third Section: Luorong Pasture➡️Gongga Co Distance: Approximately 1.5 kilometers. Terrain: Continuing from Luorong Pasture, there is a clear boardwalk leading to Gongga Co. This is a gentle uphill climb. Highlights: Gongga Co is a beautiful alpine lake, an excellent spot for photographing reflections (Mount Chanadorje). This is also one of the furthest points ordinary tourists can reach on the long route (Milk Lake/Five-Color Lake further ahead are closed)‼️ Time: Walking from Luorong Pasture to Gongga Co takes 20-30 minutes. In summary: The planned route—Zaguangbeng to Chonggu Meadow ＞ hiking the wooden boardwalk along Holy Water Lake ＞ Luorong Pasture ＞ Gongga Co—is the complete route that can be experienced within the Yading scenic area during the closure period. It connects all the core beautiful sights except for Milk Lake and Five-Color Lake.
