Discover Pinghai Ancient Town: A Treasure Next to Shuangyue Bay

While looking for strategies for Shuangyue Bay 😃, I stumbled upon the lesser-known attraction of Pinghai Ancient Town 🤩. Compared to the coastline of Huidong 🎈, I found myself more interested in this not-so-famous ancient town 😍. Pinghai Ancient Town is about 88 kilometers away from the center of Huizhou City by car 🚗, and the one-way trip takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes 🕙. The ancient town has a history of 600 years 👀 and was once a key military defense site. Every household in the town has couplets pasted at their doors 🎉, with refined wording and neat contrasts, which are interesting to read 😄. It's hard to find such a traditional atmosphere in big cities nowadays 😔. The town is small, and there are few tourists 🤷, mostly local residents, and a casual stroll can easily fill an hour 🚶. After visiting the town, you can go to the market to the north 🛒. The ancient city's thin pancakes are also there, but unfortunately, we ate too much for morning tea and couldn't eat any more 🙃.
